Pool,Gulf Views,Pool Table,Ping Pong, Golf Cart Rental Escape to 'Bahama Breeze' - a seven bedroom, five and a half bath, luxury beach home located DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO w/ beach access. Features a private heated pool (pool heat is optional for an additional cost of $45 per day, plus sales tax). Has a Cabana house. Home sleeps 16 in beds/ 2 on sleepers, for a total of 18\. The large driveway has parking for 6 cars so parking is never a problem. Immerse yourself in this professionally decorated beach home that boasts gulf views on all 3 floors, with decks and patios on every floor. The back yard features an OUTDOOR POOL TABLE, PING PONG TABLE, a large gazebo with a bar, barbeque and an outdoor television, a table seating 8, 6 loungers, stainless steel gas grill, extensive landscaping and outdoor hot/cold shower. The house has porcelain tile floors throughout. Fully furnished kitchen features granite countertops with subway tile backsplash all the way to the ceiling, stainless steel appliances, upgraded cookware/utensils. All beds have upgraded mattresses. All bathrooms feature upgraded shower heads. Golf Cart: Because local companies were charging our guests $165/day for golf carts we decided to do something about it. We went out and bought a fleet of golf carts for all of our houses (Harleman Vacation Rentals), and we now have them available for our guests to rent. We offer them for between $300 and $495 per week (+taxes and processing), depending on time of year. They are six-seater electric luxury golf carts with leather and outdoor built-in outdoor speakers for playing music. If interested, please inquire regarding availability. The layout of the home is as follows: First floor Main House: \-King Bedroom with ensuite bath \-Living room, dining area, kitchen and half bath Second Floor Main House: \-Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom and an optional futon bed for kids \-King bedroom with ensuite bathroom \-Two twin bunk beds in a bedroom \-A full bathroom in the hallway Third Floor Main House: \-A loft area with a bunk bed Cabana House: \-A king bedroom \-A Queen bedroom \-A hallway bathroom which both bedrooms would use Outdoor Area: \-Barbeque gazebo area with a bar and outdoor television and seating for up to 6. \-Gas firepit with seating \-6 sun loungers \-Outdoor dining table with umbrella \-Jacuzzi \-Ping pong table \-Pool table The house is located in an incredible location. Walking distance to numerous restaurants, shopping, coffee shop and more. Directly in front of the house is a 5 mile strand/path that is great for walking, running, biking, and roller blading. Amenities: Fully furnished kitchen features stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, disposal, oven, stove, microwave), granite counter tops, and upgraded cookware. Other features include a high capacity washer/ dryer, private pool (may be heated for additional charge), cabana house, 27"-40" LCD TV's in all bedrooms, 55' LCD TV in main house den, child friendly home with pack and play, baby gates, and high chair available at no additional charge. King and queen bedding consists of upgraded mattresses, and luxury bedding ensembles; all sleeper sofas and chairs feature upgraded mattresses; jetted spa tub in master bath; professionally decorated. Large driveway has parking for 6 cars. House has Wi-Fi broadband internet access. Fold-up, tailgating type beach chairs to take to the beach, along with a beach wagon to carry the chairs. Activities: Beaches, golf, diving, boating, fishing, water parks, swimming, local attractions, fine dining, shopping including one of the largest designer outlet centers in the country. There is also a large playground for children two blocks away that is open to the public. Area: The Crystal Beach area is located just a few blocks from the popular Destin Commons shopping center. It is bordered on one side by Henderson State Park and on the other side by the Destiny neighborhoods. It is considered by many to be the vacation destination of choice in Destin. It is a family friendly, upscale area within walking distance of some of the best local restaurants, a coffee shop, deli, and spa. Pool heat: Pool heat is $45 per day plus tax ($315 per week plus tax). Pets: we are open to hosting your furry friends. However, please inquire before booking. Optional Beach service: As a courtesy to guests, we offer a discounted beach service. If you choose this option, vendors will set up two umbrellas and four chairs, Sunday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Many of our guests enjoy this amenity as it guarantees a reserved spot on the beach and does not require you to lug the umbrellas and chairs back and forth yourself. This typically runs about $500 a week, through the vendor. The photos do make the outdoor area look larger than it is but it was still very nice. The ping pong net was broke when we got there and the pool table is weathered (but it is outside). We were traveling with our adult children and their friends. The golf cart was a fun extra vehicle for short nearby trips, and the beach chairs and umbrellas set up were super close. The house was well stocked, with many items not included in other vacation rentals—plenty of extra beach chairs and a wagon. We used the grill multiple nights, and it was very nice. The pool was hit for all of us, and beach towels were provided. The property manager had communicated all the helpful house information before our rental, so we were all set as soon as we arrived. There were 16 of us ranging from 2 yrs old to 83 yrs old. Everyone had a great time. Golf cart was a nice bonus to haul around kids and beach toys. The kids were in the pool every day and we had absolutely no issues with the heater as previously mentioned. Any issue we had was immediately addressed and resolved. (There weren't towels in every bathroom and a couple beds were missing a blanket). The location is perfect and the house is just beautiful. ##### Errin L. Comfortable beds, tons of items in the kitchen to use for a large group. Loved that there was a large pantry. Backyard was nice, pool was great. Communication was wonderful, we had a couple issues with the pool heat and they responded and took care of the issues very quickly. The house could use a good deep cleaning. Glad we didn't have 6 cars, 4 was a tight fit getting in and out. Only negative thing was the public beach access across the street. It's an entry way not a beach due to the private beaches. People were literally right on top of your stuff. We didn't walk to the other access down the road due to how much stuff and kids we had with us. The house had great beds & pillows, the kitchen had lots of good knives, stainless pots & large bowls & pitchers that were big enough for our family (8 adults & 7 children). The pool & yard activities were fun, and it was great to have 4 couches in the living room. The closest beach access is bordered on both sides by condos that have taken their “possession” of the beach way too far! They rope off “their” area and have bouncers (at least on Sunday) How unpleasant! It only leaves 30 feet of beach access. It is much nicer to walk down a few blocks (even though we had 2 nursing moms & diapers & naps). So, we weren’t close like we wanted to be because of the lousy neighbors ☹️ ##### Carol P. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need to cook family dinners. The house could definitely use some upgrades. The fence in the backyard was pretty raggedy. The floors really need a good cleaning. It didn't seem as if they had been scrubbed in quite some time. While waiting on our uber, we did run into one of the maintenance men. He was also very nice and told us the house will be receiving updates very soon. We told him the front door was coming off of its hinges, he was very quick to fix it. The beach service is kind of far. It would have been nice if it was at the first beach access. With all of that being said we would still definitely stay again. Our flights were changed on both the day we arrived and the day we left. Freya was very accommodating in letting us leave our luggage outback before check in and after check out which we were so thankful for. We have been going to Destin each summer with our sons and now with their families for over 20 years and have stayed in 'luxury' homes. The inside of the house does not look like the pictures. Its kinda beat up inside and the living room furniture is old/worn looking - not what is in the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook, etc.; however, the overhead light is nothing more than a nightlight and there is no light over the sink or under cabinets which makes it impossible to see what you are cooking or doing. There is an extra refrigerator in laundry room, but it has no shelves or drawers. Front door cannot be locked from inside. Our 2 1/2 year old great granddaughter opened the door twice and ran out so we had to barricade the door and move the stuff to go in and out. Driveway is listed as fitting 6 vehicles, we could only get 4 in it. The house is close to beach - short walk or golf cart ride. One family member said the house reminds them of a frat house. The property was very comfortable with the large group we had. Enough space for everyone. Pool was a nice feature; however, it was more like a hot tub since the temps were so hot, so not the best at trying to cool down. Since there were some teenagers with us, the pool table and ping pong table were a hit. It was nice to have a washer and dryer to keep items clean and dry. There were two refrigerators, which made it nice to store our beverages in one and food in the other. The only issue was the second refrigerator needed some tlc. It lacked shelving and it took a long time to cool things down. We had one little snag with some amenities that weren’t readily available or functioning properly but after contacting the manager, they quickly responded and took care of it. The property was in walking distance to the beach, as well as to restaurants, shopping, and other entertainment. The only thing that was needed was more paper towels and TP. This was a large group and we were provided the bare minimum (two rolls of TP per bathroom and only two rolls of paper towels). Overall, we had a great experience and would book this property again. We rented the golf cart that is an additional charge with the home and used it frequently. In the evenings, the backyard was a great place to relax and enjoy time with family. The only thing that I didn’t care for, which was minor, was all the light that comes into the master bedroom from the street lights and sunlight. It made it hard to rest at times.
