Hotel is very clean and staff is friendly. Kids loved the pool! It’s close to everything in Destin. We will definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

The hotel manager at the front desk was extremely helpful with our check in. Her and Michael were very nice and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was good value as well. They had variety of fruits, cereals, waffle maker as well as eggs, sausage, etc. Very clean and convenient location as it is only a 5 min walk to the beach.

After checking in and arriving at our assigned room. The room was clean, but the TV didn't work, "No Signal" error. I called the fromt desk to inform them of my situation. The gentleman responds, oh! Yeah, we have had problems with this for the last couple of days. I ask, well why didn't you mention this when we were checking in? He apologies, let me see if I can find you a room thats working. I will call you back when I find one. I call my friends that traveled with us, and they are having the same issue. We leave for a few hours to check out the beach and location for tomorrow's outing. After returning to the hotel, the same gentleman is at the desk and I approach. " Hey you said you were going to call me back, what's up with the TV situation?" He responds, " I'm sorry, but it's not our fault." Needless to say, I'm not bery happy and inform him, 1 you could have informed us during check-in. and given us an option to choose another hotel. 2. You didn't even call me back to inform if this was a intermittent isdue our complete black throughout the hotel. I asked to speak with a manager and was told they want be there until tomorrow. Fast forward. After leaving the beach wr returned to the hotel about 5:30 the next day; the manager was there. She oriceeds to tell me that its not their fault and that the employee had offered me thr opportunity to change room's. This was a lie. Why weren't we assigned these rooms initially. Very bad customer service

I enjoyed the property but I couldn’t sleep for some reason. I was itching. Turns out my room had bed bugs. Had to switch rooms at 2am and carry 4 kids at that time. My son now has a bump on his back which I’m assuming is from the bed bugs. They took off a night for inconvenience to hush me up

Everything we needed was in walking distance- attractions (arcade, mini golf, outdoor rides), beach and park were about 4 minutes away, several restaurant choices. I think we used our car one time and that was just because it was windy when we arrived. Hotel is nice- loved the hot tub and kids splash pad area. Overall well maintained and the staff is friendly and accommodating

This isn’t my first time staying at a this hotel chain, it may be my last after this experience. We got to the hotel and the first thing we notice was the tv wasn’t working. I called the front desk on my way to dinner and was told it was an area outage. Hmm ok. We ate just a few blocks away and their cable was working. Strange, maybe it was resolved. When I got back, our tv wasn’t working. Yet on my way to our room we could hear other’s tvs in the halls. I went to speak with someone faced to face and notice the tv in the fitness center was also working just as the tv in the lobby. I asked if someone can looks at our tv since others appeared to work just fine, I was told,”there’s an outage in the area” to which I replied,”how can that be if your tv is working and I can hear other’s are too.” Nothing, guy at the front desk literally kept saying the same thing. Finally he went to speak with someone in the back with a condescending smirk on his face, he didn’t try to hide it and he wading fully in the back so I can see him still. Who knows what he said, but whatever he said, caused a lady someone from the back and she literally said the same thing. Again, I mentioned and pointed at their lobby tv being on and working. At that time she said she doesn’t know why but that’s what the provider told her. I asked what can we do. Can we move to a room with a working tv. I asked if their tv can stream, she didn’t know. Also the fire pit was broken and the 1 grill was too.

Checked in at 2am Thursday after a 8hr drive. First night staying in this hotel we were woken up at around 9am to a fire alarm, when I checked in I was not informed of the “ alarm system checks” this “alarm check” lasted for HOURS we finally got fed up with the alarm going off and on in 5 min increments and checked out Thursday around 3pm (the alarm system was still on by then as well). I booked this hotel from wed-sat. I decided to cut the trip short and stayed 1 more night elsewhere. Was told by the front desk we could get reimbursed for Friday night, but I have yet to see anything in my account. This staff/hotel has no ethics or empathy for the people staying here. Look else where

Beautiful rooms. Very large. Only thing, had only 3 forks in the room and only one chair for the table. Wasnt able to get another from another room. This was odd as the room could house at least 4 people

Too many issues
I don't generally review hotels. There were just to many issues for highly rated hotel. Very nice and very clean buy, the room layout was horrible the TV was mounted on side wall no swivel . Couldn't watch from bed or sofa. The only option was desk chair for one. The breakfast all days was cold, the meats eggs and sausage gravy. I have never had breakfast this cold. I was actually afraid to eat it. Every day of our stay we had to call desk to get wash rags and every day they said they were short. On the weekend when they were really busy I could understand the possibility. On the weekdays there way hardly anyone there and still had the problem.They would finally send some up. On our last full day house keeping didn't show up until 4:30. Asked if it was to late, it was.House keeping understands no English, couldn't even ask for wash rags they didn't understand. Unfortunately just to many issues for me!

I booked this room 3 weeks out. Property booked my room twice. I got there my room wasn’t available they double booked it and gave it to someone else. They had one smaller room available and did not even credit me the difference in price I paid. They did not keep up with towels and blankets. We waited almost an hour at the pool in cold windy conditions for clean towels.

To be a newer property it wasn’t as clean as I’d hoped. Not terrible but I usually love Homewood suites and this one was ok. It had a pet odor. They are pet friendly. Also we only had two towels in our suite and no wash cloths. We asked for more but had to wait, there were none available at that time. I also asked for a late checkout and was immediately denied. The breakfast ran out quickly, we told them and they did bring out more items. They are very conveniently located to shops, restaurants and directly across the street from the beach and that was nice. There were many kids in the lobby running around. I would go back there but I hope the next time is a much better experience especially for Hilton.

A wonderful Stsy
We had a wonderful stay. Everything was great from the welcome reception on Wednesday evening to the daily fresh hot breakfast. The suite was very comfortable and was nice that we could cook our lunch and dinner. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and grilling area too.

It was my family’s first time staying in this hotel. It was better than we expected and the staff were always so nice. My only comment was that our room keys hardly ever worked but other than that we were fine and will look to stay again
