Terra Cotta Terrace is a relaxing private neighborhood. This Mediterranean-inspired beach community is home to a handful of beautiful homes. Amenities include a community pool and tennis courts. The brand new Sandos Coffee shop is only a short walk! The 3rd floor has a spacious primary bedroom with king bed, sleeper sofa, and large bathroom with garden tub. The other room on the 3rd floor has a king bed and a full bath in the hall. On the second floor, you will find the kitchen, living/dining rooms, and another room with king bed and a guest bath in the hallway. On the first floor, there is a bunk room with 3 twin bunks and another bedroom with 2 bunks, twin on top and two full size beds on the bottom, a small kitchenette complete with small fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave, and a bathroom with a shower, and two separate vanities. The laundry room with washer and dryer is located on the 1st floor. The finely appointed kitchen has a new stove, large refrigerator, and a Keurig one cup and drip coffee maker, plenty of pantry space, and a propane grill on the adjoining balcony. Adjacent to the kitchen is an open dining room and living area allowing for optimal comfort and plenty of gathering space. This property has a small yard for the fur baby and balconies on every floor. Enjoy magnificent sunsets from your westerly facing balconies! Reviewer Comments: I will start off by saying that the property was clean, in close proximity to the beach and most beds were comfortable. The disappointment came from the general condition of the furniture, appliances and cookware. The BBQ was inoperable and extremely dirty. The cookware was old and scratched. The oven took forever to heat (over 1hr to 350F). The dryer took 2 cycles to dry clothes. Diningroom chairs were wobbly and the couch was stained. Walked every day to Pompano Joe’s and even Whales Tail, which is further down. The designated beach area is a small space and located between 2 private zones so be prepared to walk a little. We had 11 in our group so kitchen wasn’t equipped with enough dishes. Luckily we had brought plasticware and paper plates/bowls. Property manager quick to respond when we had 2 empty propane tanks and master toilet didn’t work on arrival. The house could use some updates but served us well. Please know the 1 bedroom on first floor has beds that are actually anchored into wall and hanging with rope that has a 200 lb weight limit! However, there are several things about the house that really need some attention. 1\. The owner leaves a vehicle in the driveway. This took away from the driveway space. The promotional photos do not show this vehicle. 2\. The rugs/carpets in the house are old, worn out, and dirty. They should be replaced. 3\. The sink in the 2nd floor bathroom does not drain well. 4\. The commode in the 2nd floor bathroom does not always flush. 5\. The patio area outside the 1st floor bedroom is a wild mess. It needs to be cut, cleaned, and overall improved. 6\. The bedroom on the 1st floor with bunk beds has a strange smell. 7\. The refrigerator was not cool when we arrived. It is missing a drawer. One of the racks in the door continued to fall out. 8\. The dining area needs some type of window covering for the afternoon sun. 9\. One of the outlets in the dining area did not work. 10\. One of the outside chairs on the 2nd floor fell through when I sat in it. 11\. Overall the inside walls need to be repainted and the floors need to be thoroughly cleaned/restained ##### Mike G. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is great for a big family there were 14 of us (8 adults, 6 kids) plenty of room for all of us. Bedrooms are spacious. Master bedroom is absolutely perfect. •1st floor 2 rooms of bunkbeds & laundry room •2nd floor kitchen-king bedroom (extremely hot, we couldn’t ever get it to cool down), •3rd bedroom master & other king room •ProsGreat location, spacious rooms, good price, great communication with the host, pool was right across the street, beach was extremely close I loved that we could just walk & rent chairs/umbrella (so much easier than carrying all that stuff down) plus you’ll have a spot reserved for your whole group.There is a crockpot& Keurig/coffeepot. •ConsKitchen is on 2nd floor, the propane tank was empty when we arrived and the grill was very nasty covered the whole bottom of it in grease, the backyard needs works really bad it had trash & dirty clothes from the group before us &it was not enclosed like what we thought and not very big. We also had to go buy trash bags, paper towels,detergent, soap, kitchen towels (you cannot use white towels to clean up any spills or messes)& refill of the propane tank because there it was empty or not enough to last us 7 days there. The host said I should receive a refund for propane tank but still haven’t. Bad smell from the kitchen.Again it was a great house but we had to spend a lot of extra things which should have already been there. ##### Jaycie J. We had 1infant, 7 kids, and 5 adults. It was very spacious and clean! There were items for the beach available so we did not have to purchase any. Cleaning supplies were there to help with the mess from the sand and kids. Distance to the beach, pool, volleyball court was within walking distance. The only thing was the garbage disposal had a horrible smell. They came in and tried to fix it but the next day was the same. I just put dawn dishwashing liquid down the drain each morning and it was fine. It was a little walk to the beach, we we were like two houses from the pool. The Moms enjoyed walking to Camille’s, a local coffee shop each morning (1.5 miles away). There was enough room for all of us 8 seniors and 7 Moms. Beds and couches were comfortable. My only complaint (but not really a complaint-more just something to be aware of) is the kitchen is only big enough for just a couple people to be in while cooking. If you opened the fridge or oven, those in the kitchen had to maneuver around it. The dining area however, was large so it was easy to work around and the big dining table was awesome! We didn’t time it but I’d say around a 3 minute walk. The house was very clean, had ample space, right across from community pool & easy access to scenic 98\. Although the property says private beach access, the private beach is very small & gets very crowded. We walked down to the nearest public beach that had more room to spread out. The only flaw to the property was the dryer. Even though the washer & dryer appeared to be relatively new we had to run the dryer several cycles on high heat to dry towels. Floors made everyone’s feet black with the grit and grime. No trash bags and says it’s stocked kitchen but only has a few dishes for a house that sleeps 14\. Also the flooring in the bedrooms is probably great for sand but hurts the bottom of your feet you can’t hardly walk on it barefoot. We liked the volleyball and basketball/tennis court. The home however needs some attention. I'm sure it was cleaned to the best of the cleaners ability, however some stuff just needed to be replaced or re-done. Splatters on the walls and doors, missing/broken blinds, stains all over the couches (poor choice for white couch covers), clogged bathroom sinks, broken shelves/drawers in the refrigerator, a sticky wet liquid leaking from the bottom of the fridge, broken outdoor furniture. Smell in one of the bunkbed rooms. My son said his sheets were stained. Also, the owner left his broken down jeep in the driveway, impacting parking space. ##### Jerry P.
