Couples in search of a cozy home base as they explore the wonders of the Destin area need look no further than this lock-out condo. Conveniently located near both parks and beaches, as well as restaurants and dining, this home for two offers a great place to enjoy resort amenities, including a swimming pool, tennis courts, and more!  
  
This first-floor condo is situated at the beautiful Pelican Beach Resort, an excellent place for those seeking both sunshine and modern comforts. Your new home away from home is within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants (as well as a water park) and just around the corner from the resort's gym and swimming pool. An incredible white-sand beach is just a short walk from your door, and the lovely Henderson Beach State Park is a quick two-mile drive away.  
  
This lock-out studio is comfy and snug. The glass door to the private balcony lets in plenty of natural light, which complements the bright colors and cleverly placed furnishings, helping you feel cozy without feeling cramped. You and your special someone will have this lovely space all to yourselves, though there may be other guests living in the sub-unit next door. (If you're traveling with a larger group, consider renting this studio along with the attached condo, which will sleep a total of eight guests.)  
  
The combination living area and bedroom is the perfect place to relax, with a plush queen-size bed that sleeps up to two guests. You can just as easily sit on the bed as sleep, and the cushy bedside armchair even lets each person have their own space to kick back. Your private balcony and the fresh air that comes with it are just steps from the bed, but you can catch some cable on the flatscreen or upload some photos with the wireless Internet.  
  
At the opposite end of the room lies the small dining table for two. It's the perfect place to enjoy a treat from the adorable kitchenette, which includes a microwave, mini-fridge, and a small sink—ideal for making small snacks or heating delicious restaurant leftovers.  
  
The condo's sole bathroom is just as bright and calming as the main room, and offers a similarly compact layout with a shower/tub combo for relaxing soaks and quick showers alike. This condo also provides access to shared laundry facilities, keeping you refreshed and ready to experience everything your getaway has to offer!  
  
The beach is just a quick stroll on the boardwalk away, letting you have a beach day with your sweetheart and a low-stress day without worrying about travel all in one! Afterwards, you can work up a sweat practicing your serve on the tennis courts or by taking advantage of the resort's gym, then luxuriate with a nice soak in the hot tub, lakefront, gulf-front, or indoor/outdoor pools. End a great day with an al fresco meal courtesy of the Pelican Beach Resort's shared grilling area.  
  
When you do decide to venture out and explore this gorgeous region, you'll love how easy it is thanks to the resort's convenient location near everything Destin has to offer. BEACH SERVICES: Beach services at the Resorts of Pelican Beach is provided by La Dolce Vita. Hours are 9am to 5pm from March 1st through October 31st. All beach services are managed by La Dolce Vita under agreement with the Pelican Beach Resort Owners' Association. Policies are applicable to all guests and owners of the resort. Beach setups may be rented directly on the beach the day of, based on availability.  
  
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.  
  
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

#### Small Room

There is barely enough room to turn around. The bathroom is really small and the water smelled awful. The tub was grimy and there was dirt or something on the aged carpet. Bed was decent, luckily we brought our own blankets because the ones provided was itchy and hard. When you step outside on the balcony the complex dumpster is right underneath it so you could imagine the smell. This place would have been fine for either an elder couple or someone traveling for work or needed a place to stay for 1 night. I will not book this room again.

#### Very good for its size.

Small enough for one person! Cute set up and provided the essentials. I even booked another night because it was a great price for what you were given. Destin is beautiful and this room was perfect for one person. Gym was fine for a hotel like environment and the pool was nice as well. Only thing is that it's not a hop skip and a jump from the beach.. You do have to walk. Also $30 dollars to rent chairs for their beach. Will visit again sometime soon!

#### Small Cheap Room

If you're just looking for a cheap room with no view this will get you within a few minutes of the beachfront and a short walk you are in the sand. Just know it's crowded due to sharing with the larger hotel that is directly on the beach.
