Our on-site dog park sits just beside Building 21, near the main Highway 98 entrance. \>> Where You'll Sleep << • King bed • Two Twin trundle beds, easily moved through the condo • Queen sleeper sofa Read along for a quick layout of our space! When you arrive, you'll walk right in to the living room that boasts a comfortable Queen memory foam sleeper sofa, soft blankets to snuggle up in, and a cozy seating area around a colorful electric fireplace. The double sliding glass doors let in incredible natural light, while room-darkening curtains keep it comfortable anytime. We offer a Roku TV with standard cable included for our guests convenience. The kitchen area opens up to the living room with swivel stools at the breakfast bar for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with full appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non-perishable items. We have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, and kids dishes for our little travelers as well. Directly off the living area you can find the bedroom with a King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. For those with extra guests we have two Twin trundle memory foam beds directly under the King bed. The bedroom includes a Roku enabled TV with standard cable - perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day. The bathroom offers a shower/tub combo to enjoy baths, a beautiful vessel sink, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. We’ve designed this space with the comforts of home in mind - spacious, welcoming, and nothing like a cramped hotel bathroom. You’ll also find charcoal grills throughout the community for guests to enjoy a relaxed cookout. PLEASE read our house rules in detail before booking. We take time to put important information here that we need each guest to take into consideration when booking our home. While not all items listed may apply to your stay, we host guests of various group compositions so we must list all rules that could apply to a trip. Thank you for your understanding! Guest Access: • You’ll receive keyless entry instructions at 4PM CST on the day of your arrival for a smooth, hassle-free check-in. • Please note this unit is in a shared building, not a standalone home. • Community amenities, such as the pool and other shared spaces, are available for all guests and residents to enjoy. The Neighborhood: • Gulf Terrace Condominiums are located in the heart of Destin, just minutes away from a variety of dining, shopping, and local hotspots. • You’ll be less than a mile from June White Decker public beach access, Big Kahuna’s Water Park, and The Track Family Fun Parks, making it easy to enjoy all the area has to offer! • Our complex offers the convenience of two entrances! The main entrance takes you directly onto Destin’s main highway, while the side entrance lets you exit onto a side street with a stoplight, perfect for avoiding traffic when the town gets busy. Getting Around: • During busy times it can be easier to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to avoid dealing with traffic and parking. The town is fairly easy to navigate, as most everything to do is directly off the main road through in either direction! Other Things to Note: • This is a first-floor unit, so you may hear noise from neighboring units. While we do our best to provide a peaceful stay, some factors such as community activity and neighboring guests are outside of our control. Please note this unit is part of a shared building, not a stand-alone home. • Linens and beach towels are provided. A courtesy supply of essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bag, dish and laundry detergent) is included. For longer stays or larger groups, please bring any additional supplies you may need. • Please note that beach equipment and beach supplies are not provided. • Trailer, RV, box truck, or watercraft parking is not permitted in the complex. HOA towing fees apply for any violations. • As this is a residential complex, a 10PM noise ordinance is in effect. Excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances are not permitted at any time. • All stays with house-trained pets must be disclosed at booking, as a $50 pet fee applies. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. Pets must be crated when unattended, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them indoors and outdoors. Pets are not allowed on furniture. • ADA-recognized service animals are exempt from the pet fee, but Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not. Please note that providing false information about a service animal is against state law, so we appreciate your honesty. • While this condo isn’t directly on the beach and the beach is not visible from the unit, public beach access is just a short ¾-mile drive away. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location. • This is a mixed community with both full-time residents and short-term guests. Building exteriors are being updated gradually, which is outside our control, but we’ve created a cozy, comfortable space inside for your stay. Me gustó mucho la ubicación del complejo, tiene a su alrededor excelentes parques temáticos para todas las edades, tiendas de souvenir, y una gran variedad de restaurantes. The day of our arrival I asked could they get a bouquet of flowers for my wife before we got there. Before I could message anything else, they had already gotten a beautiful bouquet of roses for her. When we got there, the directions to the place were very easy to follow. The place was stacked! Any amenity you could think of, they had. Huge TVs in both the bedroom and the living room and a nice electric fireplace. We watched the Alabama and LSU game and had a couples tailgate party! Just my wife and I had this beautiful place to ourselves and went back in time. The patio is huge and it’s located next to everything. I just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this place. When it was time to leave, we didn’t want to go so we asked could we extend our stay. Thank God they had the availability to extend our stay! I saw later that they ask for you to have that discussion before hand since they can have a booking right after yours. But they were very responsive and gave us a discounted additional day. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a large refrigerator and other nice appliances. The unit was very nicely furnished and had a comfortable bed and sofa. Nice T.V. and bath towels. The floors were so dirty, our feet turned black. I bought a dust mop just to endure the floors without deep scrubbing them. The ad states its a 5 min walk to beach but that wasn't true, it is however a 5 minute drive. I loved that it was pet friendly and enjoyed the other guests, very friendly atmosphere. The kitchen is very well stocked with all kitchenware, including electric grill and air fryer, blender and coffee-epresso machine. The bathroom is very modern and had a huge tub! ##### Noelle P. We come to Destin every few years. Since our last visit we got a dog. This place we perfect as there is grass areas and dog clean up areas. It’s also center to the area of Destin we like most. We forgot to bring our cooler and beach chairs and they had those available. We will definitely be back. Also the respond time and messages are above and beyond. Very helpful and quick to respond. Matthew and Sarah are so easy to message with the Vrbo app. They’re very nice! They have EVERYTHING you’d need! Blankets, Pillows, Sheets, Towels, etc. The kitchen is amazing! It has EVERYTHING! All the utensils 🍴, Plate-ware, Blender, Crock pot like thingy, Toaster, Electric flat top skillet thing, and so much more! It was PERFECT! They provided toiletries and lots of things. The neighbors were Super nice! We made lots of friends. There’s a pond. Three pools. One of them (the smaller one by the front desk office.) is heated. Matt and Sarah message you precisely at 4pm with the codes and everything you need to know. It’s a gated community. It’s Pet friendly. It’s also centered around a lot of stores. Walmart is less than 5 minutes away. It has a pullout couch (queen size bed) in the living room. A king bed in the bedroom with two twin trundle beds. The owners talked about noise and warned us about it. They have a noise maker thing in the bedroom that works well! And a box fan to keep the air circulating. Anyways. 5 ⭐️ We will definitely remember this place! ##### Bekah C. They had a pack n play and high chair which was a huge plus so we didn't have to bring ours for our 7 month old. Great place to be able to get groceries and cook for your family. THE ONLY negative I have to say which I don’t really think falls back on owners but the cleaners who came in who owners have to trust to do their full part was there was a severely snotty comforter left for us to use on pull out that we didn’t end up touching the entire time but other than that the other comforters left to use and sheets appear and smelled cleaned ! The place was loaded with things to do for our kids and my boys ages 5&6 didn’t want to leave the room and when we did just asked to go back to pay the foosball table that was incorporated into the coffee table! What a amazing addition! They played that thing for hours everyday! Everything else was extremely clean they had EVERYTHING necessary you could imagine plus some ! I Was so excited they had a air fryer we use it like crazy at home so we were happy to see they had one available and since we traveled for the holidays the crock pot was a HUGE bonus to ! We brought ours incase but it’s so good to know they have one now! We will most certainly be returning ! I can’t express enough how perfect this little piece of paradise this really was for us and our 3 kiddos ! We all fit more than comfortable here and it was a great location! Highly recommend to people with kids that don’t mind not staying right on the beach but have no issues driving 2 mins down the road to access the beach easily ! Truly enjoyed everything at the Cool Azul ! ##### Chelsie T. Property looked as great as the pictures on the listing. Loved the lighting, decor, sound machine, countertop ice maker and fuzbol game. The lighting from the exterior walkway shining in the bedroom window at night was the only thing I would change. There were blinds, but the room stayed pretty bright throughout the night. May be hard for someone who likes a dark room to sleep. We will definitely recommend and be back ourselves. ##### Jennifer H. Lights in kitchen had cobwebs. When I tried to grill, it tripped the breaker. The batteries to the bedroom tv was out when we got there. The pool would close early at times. Additionally, the pool was much farther from the room than initially advertised. Homeless people by the dumpster kept scaring us. ##### brad F. Matthew is honest about the size, location, and expectations. Promptly at 4 pm, we received a message on how to check in. He sent a message later to make sure everything was going smoothly. When I mentioned a couple housekeeping items just so we wouldn't get charged for a light stain on the sofa and mini blinds that wouldn't roll open, he offered to remedy the situation immediately. ##### Lisa F.
