I specifically chose this unit because it listed an ice maker, and the previous unit I stayed in did not have one. Well, the ice maker was broken. We notified staff immediately, and while they sent maintenance out, the issue was not resolved during our stay, nor did they communicate with us about the issue. We happened to run into the maintenance guy and specifically asked, and he said it had to stay off because there was a water leak, but otherwise we would have never known. Also, this unit didn’t provide many basics that other units provide (e.g. salt/pepper, wrap/foil/bags, etc.), which was disappointing. Additionally, while they had blackout curtains on the sliding door, they didn’t in the window (same room), so the room was fully light by 5:30 am everyday. At first I was iffy about being small. It was perfect! It had enough room for us. My kids are 13-9-1\. It was a short walk across the street to the beach.
