The property has a 24 hour in person gate guard which is nice knowing that no one that shouldn’t be on property is. The unit is cozy and had everything my family needed to be comfortable. I was very last minute in planning and booked this trip the day before. The condo was clean and looked just like the pictures. We did have a little bit of difficulty working the door lock upon arrival, but after trying a few times, we figured it out. It was very quiet, in a very nice location, and the property was very well kept. The walk to the beach was pretty decent from the condo, so we just drove across the street to park and got to the beach from there. The listing says the beach chairs are free, but upon checking in, we were told there is a daily rental fee. We didn't need them, but just as added information. The only negative I would offer is that the bedroom struggled to cool off at night. The living area would cool each evening, but the bedroom temperature was definitely different. We kept the ceiling fan on the highest setting. It wasn't hot by any means, but just a little warmer than I would prefer.I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone and would gladly stay again! ##### Emily G. Our kids have come to Destin for many years so we thought "Let's Go" and we couldn't have had a more pleasant time. The beach was wonderful , and the restaurants in destin covered all the bases, no matter what kind of food they have it. Our only concern was the bed was very high and the shower was very slippery. We had some issue with the lock to get in but the property managers were able to give me a key to avoid the hassle. The property managers (Sandpiper Cove workers) were not easy to reach and were not friendly when we were trying to resolve these issues. I did this and triple checked the number and they said they didn’t get it and then wouldn’t let us use the chairs since we are renting and not actually the family that lives there. This definitely shouldn’t be advertised as something you can use for free if you have to lie about being a part of the family of owners which I didn’t realize. The wifi wasn’t working day one (which normally I wouldn’t care but I had to work from the condo that day and had to go elsewhere) and I never got a response through Vrbo on this. Communication was not good on Vrbo which maybe I was supposed to go through the front desk I’m not even sure I’m just used to using it through the app on every other Vrbo I’ve stayed in. Aside from these two things the apartment was perfect for my wife and I but just be aware I wouldn’t count on using the chairs. ##### Garret B.
