Parking Rules (per HOA & the City of Destin) • We are permitted for a maximum of three (3) vehicles. • Golf carts are NOT allowed. • Street parking (or vehicles hanging over into the street) is not allowed. • Limited overflow parking is available. • No boats, jet skis, trailers, or RV are allowed in the complex. Other Notes • We provide fresh linens, bath towels, soaps, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash can liners to get you through the first couple of days. Additional supplies are the responsibility of the guests. • No Smoking - This is a non-smoking property. We had plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out. The pool is very close to the house which was convenient. The beach is a short walk so we didn’t use the shuttle. Great communicators and we certainly felt well prepared for our visit. The place was well decorated and plenty big enough for the 8 adults and 4 teens. Appreciated that there were plenty of dishes (and back up dishes), kitchen supplies that most places aren’t equipped with, towels (both bath & beach towels), and each bathroom was well stocked with things like nicer shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, qtips, cotton rounds, extra toilet paper, hair dryer. The beds & pillows were comfortable as well. Kids got a kick out of the arcade game in the kids/teens living room. Jun 28, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Big family vacation We would stay in this house again. The house has most of everything you need. It does have beach chairs beach towels and a wagon to walk to the beach. The owner was always quick to reply back to us. The walk to the beach isn't too bad. There is a shuttle but we would go too early or too late to be able to use it. The house was very clean. The pool is nice but is around the corner from the house. They do give you a starter set of paper towels toilet paper and trash bags but We didn't realize it isn't that much and with 16 people for a week, it went very fast. Jul 18, 2025 Liked: Communication Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy #### Overpriced - Not Like The Pictures We wanted to love it but it just fell short at every turn. We had to wait outside past the 4p checkin time for the cleaning crew to finish. There was trash on the ground and in the bushes around the front porch and the neighborhood smells of hot trash since all the trash cans are on the front, as there are no back yards. Once we were in the house, it was surprising that the cleaners needed extra time because the floors were filthy. The bottoms of our feet turned black after being there an hour. The living room rug is stained and just generally nasty. It should have been thrown away months ago. The kitchen is incredibly small and reeked of cooked shrimp; I’m guessing the last guest boiled seafood and spilled it everywhere. One of the king beds was broken and we had to reposition the legs so it could be used. The bunk beds swayed back and forth so much that we were afraid to let any of the kids sleep there. The beds were uncomfortable and each had some kind of plastic covering under the sheets. The advertised milkshake bar was nothing more than an empty shelf with one container of crushed nuts. The neighborhood, in general, is pretty worn down and very crowded. The walk to the beach isn’t that far but the public beach access is very small and crowded. The pool would be pretty if the other guests weren’t blaring music with explicit lyrics, which the pool security guard did nothing to stop. Jul 5, 2023 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Cleanliness #### Didn't live up to expectations The property wasn't clean. We contacted the owner about visibly dirty pillowcases and cereal on the kitchen floor and they came out right away to change the pillowcases. But there is no way we felt like it was truly clean. And then, while packing, we found an open bottle of spit from chew and medication that belonged to a previous renter. So any questions about whether the property was actually clean...well, it wasn't. Additionally, it says sleeps 16\. There are only bed for 12, plates for maybe 10, glasses for 12, the kitchen is very small. We had 16, 12 were children and there really wasn't enough space. We have stayed in Villages of Crystal Beach five times over the last 13 years (usually if we are going with a big group) and this will be our last stay. The neighborhood has just gotten very rundown. The beach tram is now a van that you have to call for instead of a golf cart that is just always running. It just wasn't as good as it has been previously and the run down house didn't help. For the price, you can definitely find something better. ##### Lisa C.
