Stroll Destin's famous glittering white sands and glide under the clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, only steps away from this spacious, pet-friendly, two-bedroom/two-bath, upstairs condo overlooking the large community lap pool. \*Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the pool may be heated seasonally. Come "home" to relax in the tranquil decor of this island-themed oasis with vaulted ceiling and open-concept floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar and new granite counter tops that add additional seating to the dining area. The spacious, comfy living area has a flat screen TV and DVD player, and opens to a furnished balcony where you can enjoy a cool drink and the sea breezes with a beautiful view of the pool. After a long day at the beach, sleep soundly in the master bedroom with king bed, flat screen and new private bath with walk in shower. Tuck the kids into the second bedroom, complete with two Queen beds, built in dresser and another flat screen. The two soothing, neutral bathrooms provide the privacy desired by families, couples or groups. Community laundry facilities are located about 20 feet away, behind the pool and clubhouse, so you can travel home with clean clothes. But we warn you–it's truly hard to leave here! And don't leave Fido behind! The Chateau La Mer community is perfect for pets. There are large grassy areas and sidewalks for walking beside the breathtakingly beautiful beach. The only thing I would change is I would love to have blackout curtains in the master bedroom. The ad said there was a sofa sleeper but there wasn’t. Also, we never got our free gift. Condo was in a perfect spot and had inside the house what we needed.. Just a few minutes on foot away from a private beach and near a pool. It was quiet and right across from the beach with private access. 3-5 min walk from Condo. Suggest a cart for everything taking to the beach. The condo was a great lay out and size. All the kitchen amenities you would ever need!! The lines where super clean …. Love the smell of bleach!!! The balcony was nice …. View not the best but off the corner (second floor) of the pool ….so super close!!! Furniture was super comfortable and NO carpets!! Great!!!! There are a few things the owner needs to look at or at least consider. It was very musty especially when the a/c or the heat was on. When was the system cleaned and filters changed? Or is it in the walls of the drywall? If you have allergies or if anyone has breathing difficulties this Condo I would not recommend. I have bad allergies to must/mold and this sent me in to a full blown attack with all the complications that come with it!!! Luckily I always bring meds for this reason!!! After settled and all the windows where left open the whole time even at night and the heating and air unit off it was much better. We did enjoy the stay and it is great for pets!! A two minute walk brought us into part two of the le chateau mer and it was super nice but not pet friendly. ##### Denise S. (First time traveling with our pets.) This location was GREAT! Lots of green space for our dogs, a few steps to the beach/ocean, and a nice sized/layout condo. We are definitely keeping this place on our list of places to use again! ##### Adam F.
