This thoughtfully updated third-floor unit features hardwood flooring throughout the condo, with tile flooring in both bathrooms and can accommodate up to six guests. The remodeled kitchen showcases Meridian gray quartz countertops, a subway tile backsplash, white upper cabinets, turquoise lower cabinets, and new appliances including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The peninsula is accented with vintage tin from the early 1900s, while the pantry door—dating back to the 1800s—adds a unique custom touch. The kitchen is equipped with a standard drip coffee maker for your morning routine. Just beyond, the dining area features vintage seating and a table that comfortably accommodates six guests The living room offers a welcoming retreat with a comfortable fabric couch, a ceiling fan, custom reclaimed wood beam accents, and a stylish entertainment center. Relax and unwind while enjoying the 65-inch TV with a DVD player after a day at the beach. The Gulf-front master suite features a king-size bed, balcony access, and a 55-inch TV with a DVD player. The completely redesigned master bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a tall toilet, a large vanity, light blue penny tile, and a reclaimed wood mirror that adds to the condo’s vintage flair. The guest bedroom features a custom-built twin-over-queen bunk and a 50-inch TV, making it perfect for families. The guest bathroom is equally well appointed with a tub and subway tile accents. This condo includes internet access, as well as bath and kitchen towels provided for your comfort. During your stay, you’ll have access to a fantastic selection of on-site amenities, including a heated pool, two lighted tennis courts, a BBQ grilling area, shuffleboard, exercise rooms, saunas, and coin-operated laundry facilities. Guests will also enjoy complimentary beach service (March–October), which includes two chairs and an umbrella set up for you daily on the beach. Our first visit to Destin surpassed our expectations starting with our rental of this condo. Every detail in this condo was as pictured and accurately described, however the pictures don’t do it justice for every single meticulous detail taken into account to make this condo the perfect stay on the beach. Check-in and check-out were both very easy, there was always plenty of parking, and there are plenty of amenities in this building to make a vacation comfortable for the whole family. If you are looking to rent this property based on the extensive description of the extremely unique furnishings, along with the extensive photos, as we did...DON'T! We arrived on Monday, May 10th, 2021, and after checking in and arriving at the property, we discovered little to no furniture in the living room and dining room. The property manager advised us that the owner had removed the previous furnishings 3 days prior, and the new furniture had not arrived yet. Furniture arrived the following day, and it was a black leather sofa and love seat, and a plain dining room table and chairs. No coffee table, no side tables, no accent chairs, no rugs, no accent pillows. Just a very basic couch, love seat, table and chairs. Absolutely none of the living room and dining room furniture described and photographed in the property listing. The property manger refunded our first nights stay, due to the total lack of furniture, but I have received no follow-up from the host or VRBO regarding my total dissatisfaction due to their misrepresentation and breach of contract. However, I was quite disappointed to discover there was no washer or dryer in our actual condo. We were advised we could use coin laundry machines on the property. Um, no thank you. Not for the amount of money we paid to rent this “adorable” condo. Also, disappointed that we were only given 3 towels per person and, again no washer/dryer. We were given the opportunity to exchange our linen twice during the week. That was a rough week of moist wet towels. Not a fan of that. Next, the “adorable” condo was lacking in the kitchen appliance and accessories department. Don’t plan on getting too extravagant with any meals or cocktails. Which with social distancing and more visitors staying in to eat, the owners should invest in a few more kitchen amenities. Lastly, was the incredibly LOUD air conditioner. It ran constantly and was so loud I called maintenance because I was concerned it was about to blow up. He advised, “you’re lucky, it’s blowing out really cold air, so it’s not broken”. He was right the air was cold, therefore I decided to choose my battles wisely. I prefer a LOUD working air conditioner to one that doesn’t blow out cold air. The pictures are extremely accurate. It was decorated in such a cute vintage style. The staff was very friendly. Check in easy. The gym was nice and clean. The location was great. The XPlorie amenities were a nice extra to have. We used a deep sea fishing trip. The weather was very and during our stay. The no swim flags were out the entire trip which meant the pool was very busy when the rain slacked off. Sad to say we did not get much time outside. The only negative I would list is that there is not a washer and dryer directly in the unit. They are located on floors 4 & 6 and you pay per load.
