It is located at a very nice beach which we almost had to ourselfs. You can also reach Grand Anse beach by foot. We were taken care of extremely well by Marie Line and her son. We spent a perfect holiday in paradise in glorious Guadeloupe. The house was clean and well presented in an outstanding location. We were greeted when we arrived by our wonderful host Marie Line . This beach is never crowded and very quite. There is a sandy part perfect for children, and rocky part perfect for snorkling. The most famous beaches, Perl and Grand anse are on tbe right and on the left, 10 minutes and 20 minutes walking distance. The trail to Grande anse is so beatiful! The location is perfect, If you are a Death in Paradise fan, then this spot is closest to all the main filming locations. The house had AC in the bedrooms which made sleeping comfortable. The living area can be opened up on all sides to catch a breeze. We watched a turtle from the covered deck, that came up the beach to lay eggs right in front of us. The hosts were responsive to our communications. There is no cell service around the property but the WiFi is excellent. A car is definitely needed to stay here as grocery stores are about 10 to 15 minutes away. ##### John S. Superb location on a semi-private beach, snorkeling out front, often a cool breeze that helped with the mosquitos, felt safe/secure, and caretakers were friendly and available. Our 1 & 2 year old were well contained on the large fenced in patio, a high chair, two pack n plays (but one ended up sleeping under mosquito netting), and even a toddler wash bin for the shower. Hopefully future guests will be able to enjoy the inflatable toddler bedrails we left behind. There is even a kids' playground on way to Cherry's Pizza. The surf was right outside the windows and patio. It was 5-6 minutes drive to Pearl Beach or Deshaies. 5 minute walk on pathway south to Gadet Beach, a calmer cove for swimming and much less visited than the big beaches. The house is spacious and well stocked in the kitchen. Great outdoor seating. Each bedroom with ensuite bath and AC, mosquito netting. We would love to go back. The end of our week had stronger surf and I found it too loud for sleeping but my husband was fine. I simply slept in the middle bedroom. Nous avons adoré notre séjour à notre location évasion au son des vagues. Elle porte bien son nom, nous sommes bercés par les vagues à notre porte. Une maison propre et fonctionnelle directement sur la plage. Avec une magnifique grande terrasse qui offre une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et la très belle plage pratiquement privée. Wunderschöner Blick von der großen Terrasse auf das Meer.Unser Flug hatte sich verspätet, Ankunft an der Unterkunft erst gegen 1 Uhr morgens, sehr gute Kommunikatiom mit der Vermieterin, völlig problemloses Einchecken, In der Küche war ein schöner Obstteller gerichtet mit Kaffee, so toll, da wir aufgrund der Verspätung nichts mehr einkaufen konnten. Die Unterkunft ist groß, die Einrichtung einfach gehalten, aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und Dusche ! Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, ich kann die Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen. Allerdings ist die Strömung am Strand sehr stark, also nicht wirklich für kleine Kinder geeignet bzw ständige Aufsicht vonnöten. Name der Unterkunft absolut passend !! ##### Ingeborg Johanne E.
