You can pick up the river path at the end of our block and it’s under a mile to Principle Park, Farmer’s market, East Village shopping and Court Ave food/drinks. Enjoy a view of the Capitol Building from the front yard or cross the street to enjoy the Disc golf course, park and splash pad with your kids or furry family members! All 3 bedrooms and the full bath are located upstairs. The downstairs is spacious with an open kitchen, dining room and living room. The half bath is on the first-level, just off the entry way. The house was spacious and comfortable, easy driveway parking and close access to restaurants, bike trails, and fun things to do. There is huge park across the street that would be perfect for little kids and the trail along the river is only a few hundred feet from the front door. We sat on the patio every morning for coffee, it would have been nice to have cushions on the furniture but there is plenty of seating. neighborhood is really quiet. The Capitol House was perfect. It was clean and there was plenty of room for all of us. The host was readily available if we had any questions. The house had all the basic necessities, plus quite a few extra amenities- such as tvs in each room with streaming services, lots of DVDs, children’s toys and a grill. Plus there were plenty of towels and toilet paper. We loved that there was a splash pad and playground literally across the street. It was perfect for my 3 year old grandniece to burn some energy.
