« An absolutely gorgeous cottage - comfortable, clean, had everything we needed. And within walking distance of several decent pubs and of course the beautiful Chatsworth Estate An excellent location for walking and running »

« Lovely apartment. The stairs provide useful training for any walks you might be planning (lol). The kitchen was well equipped and a generally sure location. Anyone over 6 foot tall may have to duck to get under the shower properly but that wasn't a problem for us. »

« Bradwell is a great location for visiting the Peak District: it's close to many of the popular hikes, but it doesn't feel overrun with other tourists. The house was very well set up and comfortable. »

« I personally did not stay here. I booked for my mother and father and aunt. They came from America to visit me in Nottingham/Derby. From what I saw it was clean, neat, and well stocked with all thing things you need for a stay. My folks said the beds were comfortable and they enjoyed their stay. I would definitely book again for future guests visiting me. Thank you. »

« This is a beautifully put together house and it was immaculately clean throughout. Check-in was no problem and the location was great. If you are not a good walker, you might struggle with the trudge up the steep hill from Matlock to the house: we decided it meant the cheese and wine was well earned!! There is some confusion in the listing about the bedrooms: B1 is listed as having a king size bed: the picture is of the smallest room which has a small double. The other two rooms have...

« There was many things that were incredibly disappointing about this property. An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....

« We loved our stay in Wirksworth. Such a lovely area for walking and cycling which we were after. The cottage was lovely. Very comfy beds, great sofa and fab log burner. Kitchen has everything you need. The shower is definitely small as the listing says. However i dont thjnk i realised how small - we managed (just) but this is the only negative in an other wise lovely stay. The village is also great, again with everything you need in terms of variety of places to eat and drink. »
