The staff and the (if I am not mistaken) Belgium-born hotel manager are welcoming, efficient, and always making sure you and your family are having a good time. The breakfasts are among the best in Yogyakarta, and the restaurant in general has a superb mix of Indonesian and European food -- all at a reasonable price. Its lobby contains one of the most beautiful and largest mosaics I have ever seen. This is but one of the many details that make this elegant, well laid out, and conveniently located hotel stand out. Rooms are large and well laid out. There's a great pool and children's pool. The restaurant and dining options are among the best of any hotel in Yogya. I am glad I picked this hotel as it was a very comfortable stay with many great amenities. I utilized their fitness area, which had many options for weight training with the machines they had, including dumbbells. The staff was terrific, and I would say one of the best parts of my stay was the breakfast. Never have I seen so many options in a breakfast buffet. I maybe tried a tenth of what they had to offer, and I didn’t have room to try anymore. Next to the hotel is a large shopping mall where you can find plenty of food stalls and restaurants.
