Multiple decks with astonishing views down to the beach and a sky-high crow’s nest reading area put you above it all, but you’ll also enjoy the ground-level perks at Bella Beach, with its Cape Cod-style architecture, mature plantings, children’s playground, fire pit, and tasty treats at Café C’est la Vie. The lower level of the home, bathed in light from windows up the stairwell, has two private bedroom suites; the king suite has a spa tub. The upstairs great room has an expertly crafted wood-planked ceiling that rises in the center, bringing the space and the people in it together. The fully equipped kitchen boasts an electric range for the chef, with ocean views from a bank of windows in the dining room. Cozy sofas, understated décor, a gas fireplace, board games, a DVD library, and an enormous flat-screen TV/Blu-Ray DVD help make it a perfect blend of comfort and style. Step outside to the deck and watch the breakers crash on shore between houses. A double bed in the corner of the main level makes a great place to sleep, lounge and read below the spiral staircase to the crow’s nest, a tower windowed on all four sides with a raised window seat and a built-in desk and stool, so you can write your morning pages inspired by views of the surf. However, it was New Year’s, and no one had been in the place for a week and they hadn’t turned the heat on. every surface was absolutely frozen. it took hours to get the house warm. Unfortunately, they didn’t really believe us at first. it took a lot of nagging to get heaters to be brought in and for them to realize that we were serious. They ended up compensating us and once the place got warm it was absolutely delightful. But it was a rocky start. The heat source on the main floor is just the fireplace. The bedrooms have individual heaters and the one in the bedroom didn’t work! They came and fixed. Brought us heaters and finally it was warm. And then the rest of the time was great. Well stocked. Comfortable beds. If it’s winter, just ask to make sure the heat is turned on before arrival! ##### Irene K. The ocean is steps away, and like mentioned before, there are lots of steps in the property and to get the ocean but we didn't find it difficult. The views from the property were great and we enjoyed the outdoor seating on two different levels of the house. The garage was spacious and there was plenty of room in the property to spread out. We ate most of our meals at the rental and the kitchen was pretty-well stocked although we could have used another cookie sheet and a toaster (our toast loving teens had never used a toaster over).Our family of four stayed three nights and check-in was easy. The bad (we handled on our own because of timing): The king size bed had dirty sheets. A quarter size brown spot was on the bottom sheet 1/3 down from the top when bed was turned down the first night. It was already late but we didn't go to bed until the linens were washed and dried. Luckily, the spot came out but that also confirmed the sheets were dirty. One bathroom had several dead bugs on the floor and also had several roughly 5mm size brown spots on the shower walls that wiped off with a clorox wipe. Lastly, the corner nook off the living room with the bed was one of my teen's favorite places. She unfortunately gave it up after a third spider (looked like the common "giant house spider") crawled on her while sitting on the bed. I would definitely stay in this area again but likely in a property run by a bigger company. ##### David W. The home is in a lovely pocket community that is quiet and not too crowded. With access to a private beach just steps away, we were also able to enjoy sunset strolls and stunning views. There are a lot of stairs. It didn’t bother us but it might for other’s. It was very relaxing to watch the wave’s up high. It was also nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the nice weather, a beer and the wave’s. The kitchen was well stocked. The fireplace was a nice touch on cool morning’s. There is also a washer and dryer. We had use of the garage. There were beach chairs and sand toy’s for the kid’s. Very peaceful and quiet. I wish we had booked our stay a little longer. Oh there is also a nice French cafe. All of the food is fresh and delicious. ##### Jolene R. The weather for our family stay was typical Oregon, and the location gave us the perfect opportunity to chill as a family inside and still convenient to pop out on the beach for a bit. My pre-teen (10 and 12) kids enjoyed the loft area but warn the layout of the home may pose challenges for young children. Just perfect for us though! ##### Camille P. Only reason I give it four stars and not five is that the cleanliness we found the house in could have been better. My wife had to clean mold and mildew out of the jets in the master tub. Gross! You are about 50 steps from the beach and you hear the ocean waves all day and night which is the best! The beds were very comfortable and the unit was very well stocked. The only drawback from our age perspective are the numbers of stairs that must be climbed to get in the house and to the living area. ##### Bubba H.
