It was certainly one of the reasons we chose the house and our kids especially were very disappointed! We asked our host about it and when she got back to us a couple of hours later, she suggested we leave and offered to refund us. This was, of course, not an option on Christmas Eve and we stayed as it was our only option. But it would have been nice if she’d offered us even a small refund as compensation for the mistake. Or at least an apology! We payed over $800 for 3 nights. The house was cute but the communication with host and the lack of concern that a major amenity included on the listing was missing left a bad taste in our mouths. ##### Rachel W.
