Running toilet

Cons: the toilet needed to stop running
First, let me say that I really like this hotel. I have stayed there four times now. This time we had a staycation for Christmas and it was wonderful. the staff were amazing! The biggest problems that I had was a running toilet, a missing microwave, and a rude maintenance guy. when I called and confirmed my stay directly with the hotel, I requested a microwave in the room. When I got there, it was not there so I called the front desk and they said they would have one sent right up. The maintenance guy who brought it up didn't smile once. He set it down on the desk and left. He didn't even plug it in.

Not sure if it was because I booked via 3rd party site or not but I was less than impressed. Lighting in bathroom was poor. Bathtub and especially the sink were very slow to drain. One if tge bedside lamps wasnt working because the switch had broken off. The vent for heat was so loud it kept waking me up eveey hour, thus i slept poorly. And even though I was a solo traveler, I was given two double beds instead of the king. Oh finally always check the hotels website.. I logged on to free Wi-Fi ( only positive) and learned that it would have been cheaper by almost $50.

Great location, avoid traffic congestion, views.

Pros: Location, even if you need to be downtown, this is easy in and out of the city.
The staff was very accommodating to our request. Bar staff was fun and engaging.

Nice hotel

Pros: the hotel is a bit dated
Cons: Then hotel could use an update
Location: great location for the area
We were stuck due to bad roads. The staff (CJ & Benjiman) went up and beyond to be sure we got a room. We had a date mix up on the reservation (our mistake) and they really helped us get things cleared up. Great team and hotel.
