With the perfect blend of rustic and modern, you’ll get the full mountain experience just 20 minutes outside of the Denver city limits. Our home SLEEPS 14 GUESTS... You couldn't ask for a better space for a large group or family gathering. This log-integrated home provides an open floor plan, radiant floor heating throughout, plenty of space for large groups with two master bedrooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. For your comfort and convenience, you’ll have access to a total of 3 TVs (smart and streaming- with cable), a gas fireplace, laptop-friendly office space, and washer/dryer. The drive up alone will leave you breathless, and there’s plenty of outdoor space with a large yard, two private decks, and gazebo with stunning views. Step outside onto the gazebo to enjoy your coffee or cocktail, soak in the sunshine and enjoy the fresh Colorado air. Elk, mountain goats, foxes, moose, bunnies, and even bears have been spotted from time to time! Upon entering the home, you’ll be greeted with a serene space, flooded with natural light and magnificent views. The warm and inviting main level includes a large living area and fully stocked kitchen, complete with coffee, spices, oil, two dishwashers and all the cooking essentials you might need during your stay. On the main level, you will also find the first Master Bedroom complete with its own en-suite bathroom with a large tub. The guests staying in the main level master can also enjoy their own private morning kitchen, which includes a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. There is also a second bedroom located on the main level with a full-size sleeper sofa. Head upstairs to the second master, with yet another ensuite bath, tub (Jets in the tub do not currently work), and private deck. The upstairs provides more than enough privacy for families or larger groups with the three bedrooms spaced out nicely. The two additional upstairs bedrooms both include their own ensuite bathrooms with Jack and Jill sinks. The third bedroom is perfect for the kiddos, with 2 bunk beds, totaling 4 twin beds. Downstairs you’ll find even more secluded space with two bedrooms, each with their own queen bed. This level also has it’s very own game room with billiards table and additional living area. The fireplace in the main bedroom was not functioning and the in floor heating did not seem to be working. Plenty of room for 4 couples. Lower level thermostat was not working so it was quite cool down there. Loved the location as it was convenient to all kinds of activities including hiking, biking, zip lining, trail riding. Aspens were turning which made it even more special. Worked out well for our family get together. With people coming from around the country, at different times, I appreciated the ability to arrange early check-in. The home had ample parking and nice outdoor space for morning coffee. Large kitchen and an abundance of bathrooms. They are serious about the drive grade, it is very steep with drop offs on the side. ##### Pam H. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed and easy to get around. The amenities were exactly as described, which made for a comfortable and convenient visit. The home is beautiful and beds are comfortable. There were only two dish towels and the pots and pans need updated (scratched teflon) for cooking large meals, but otherwise things were good. There seemed to be a bit of a fly issue throughout the home as well. For tv watchers, there is only one tv in the basement living area outside of the two in the Master rooms, pretty limited for a house this size although accurately described on the listing. The views were absolutely amazing and the overall layout of the house was good, providing plenty of private space as well as large areas to gather as a group. Communication with property management was prompt and helpful. There was none in there either. We needed to purchase toilet paper, garbage bags(1spare) and paper towels. That was a bit of a disappointment as we had 14 adults. Just a heads up a coffee pot threw off an electric shock and then there was no more power to the two sockets by the sink in the kitchen. They were super responsive, the house was beautiful and the check in and check out was very easy. This house was perfect for our group of 11 for a girls trip. The outdoor spaces were perfect for viewing the mountains and the house was clean and beautifully spacious. I felt my family needed a new clean peaceful gateway to realize how thankful we are that we still each other. The coziness and warmth of the house was amazing. The driveway could be a problem for some and they don't tell you about it until you arrive. There was 1 kitchen towel and no dish cloth, sponge or brush. There were two dishwashers that were both broken. One rack was held up with tape and a rusted wood screw. The other was missing a roller on the bottom rack. Some rooms didn't have clean sheets and the bathrooms had few towels and only 1 washcloth per bath. the body wash smelled horrible so bring your own. There were no blinds on the huge windows in the master bathroom that overlooks the driveway and other properties. We never talked to the owner and had to suffer with poor communication with Effortless rental property managers. They quoted one price when we asked to stay an additional day then tried to charge us double. Needless to say, we left and made other arrangements. I really hope the owner reads this review and considers changing property managers and cleaning people.
