More like a Motel 6

Posted 20-Oct-2016
Cons: Not really a 3 star, more like a 1 1/2.
This is supposed to be the better of the Holiday Inns. NOT. The TV is very small, the bed not so great. The refrigerator is not in a cabinet, so you hear it all night. The closet doors don't stay open, so hard to use. Left an empty tissue box for my entire stay (3 days). Not going back.

close to DIA

Posted 4-Oct-2016
Close to the airport and had hoped to use the advertised shuttle. I did not read anywhere that a reservation for the shuttle had to be made in advance. The night we arrived, it was already fully booked through two hours in the early morning, which forced us to find alternative transportation. The hallways smelled really good with an inviting but not overpowering fragrance! Unusual for a hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. We had booked a room with a king and ended up in a handicap unit with two queens. Unhappy about that! The staff did nothing to make amends. Good coffee in the morning!

Clean and close to the airport.

Posted 14-Sep-2016
Cons: We had to ask for additional towels and coffee cups every day, more should be kept in the rooms.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Near the airport and easy commute to Denver.

Not do good

Posted 5-Sep-2016
Room had a terrible smell. Was dinner when we first got there but the room began to smell like vomit although it was attempted to be cleaned. It still had an odor. Air conditioning was noisy.

Nice place to spend a night before the flight

Completely usual Holyday Inn, nothing special about it. Clean, comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. As always, do not place your fruits in the refrigerator -- it is much too strong, and you will get ice out...

convenient location

Posted 29-Aug-2016
Pros: location
Cons: Nicer concierge staff
I booked this reservation at this hotel thru Expedia because of the convenient location near the airport as I have never been to Denver and wanted an easy route in and out to my destination in Denver. I have stayed in Holiday Inns several times over the past several years and have always been satisfied. Although it was very convenient, I had several issues with this hotel. One was the fact that, out of four nights I stayed, my key would not work three of these and I had to go back downstairs to have it re-keyed, and on the third day there upon arriving back to the hotel and going back down to have this issue addressed and coming back up to find out that my room had not been cleaned and the coffee supplies restocked. When I came back down to address this with the front desk receptionist I felt as if I was bothering her. (very rude, non caring personality). I believe for the high price I paid for these four nights, the service could have been better.

No problems whatsoever!

Posted 28-Aug-2016
Pros: Ease of getting in and out, cleanliness and comfort.
Cons: I can think of anything!
Location: On a previous trip we stopped at their restaurant and had the best chicken wings we've ever eaten while we watched sports on TV.
The airport shuttle picked us up late at night to take us to the hotel. The front desk person processed our reservation quickly, and we went straight to our room, which was clean, comfortable and quiet. We had breakfast coupons for the next morning, and enjoyed a light breakfast in their restaurant. Really - no complaints at all. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Needed to get a nights sleep

Posted 27-Aug-2016
After a hard day's travel we needed to stay in Denver overnight. The Holiday Inn had a free shuttle to get too and from the airport, you really need that. Both the drivers where excellent, and answered our questions and offered advise on the return trip on checking in etc. the hotel staff where very curtious and helpful. The room was clean, fresh, and bed. Dry comfortable. The included breakfast was very good.
