There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, you can definitely walk to the grocery store (just a little bit of a trek if you're carrying heavy items). There were also gyms nearby but most of all, we felt very safe staying there. Being above ground level and having locks on the fences, front door and bedroom doors, was clutch. The location was just a short ride share ride away. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly easy to work with and was a quick and efficient communicator. Having found out that my wife and I, along with the other couple we went with, are big brewery people, Elizabeth recommended a couple places to visit and they did not disappoint. The apartment was exactly as described and was perfect for a one night stay for four people. Having only one bathroom I’m not sure we would stay more than a couple nights with four of us (maybe I’m a primadonna), but all of us would have been perfectly fine if we did do a second night there. The unit had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The biggest thing was that there was enough basic supplies to last the weekend; and yea, we have been to places where we had to go to the store to buy paper towels and/or toilet paper. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils needed. Beds were comfortable and clean. Great location with walking distance to several restaurants, night clubs and breweries.
