Not a good value

Posted 19-Dec-2016
Hotel and staff were pleasant. The overall rating suffered because breakfast was not included so we paid $25 extra and we were given a handicap room. Couldn't hang clothes in closet because they drug on the ground and had to remove the shower seat before we could use the tub area. This probably sounds petty, but for the room price of $150 breakfast should be included and they should ask you if you want a handicap room. It was graduation weekend so they may have raised the price due to high demand.

Denton hotel

Posted 2-Oct-2016
I was disappointed in my room. Bed was not comfortable...way too soft. Room was not attractively decorated. No blanket was provided. No hair dryer in the bathroom. Just not impressed.

Top Notch Staff

Posted 30-Sep-2016
Pros: Staff, location, and cleanliness.
Cons: No improvement really needed.
Location: Was there on Business and chose because near Denton County Court Buildings.
My stay at Hilton Garden Inn - Denton was excellent! The staff were without exception were friendly, knowledgeable, and accessible. The room was spotless, especially the bathroom, comfortable, and perfect for my quick overnight stay while in Denton on Business.

College Visit Weekend

Posted 11-Aug-2016
Pros: Very clean, modern decor, good breakfast.
Cons: New pillow, please!
Location: Close to the "mall" (don't go), restaurants and plenty of shops. Visit the lovely campus of UNT. A far cry from that area 20 years ago.
We passed through Denton on our way further north because it was a convenient stop, and my husband and I are UNT alumni, so we thought it would be fun to visit the campus. The hotel was very close to restaurants, shops and the highway. But still very quiet. It seems quite new, so it was very clean. The food was good, and the service in the eating area was very friendly. My only complaint would be that the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The bed was good; the room was clean, well kept and spacious. But those pillows were quite bad. Other than that, we would certainly stay here again.

Very Nice Hotel!

Posted 8-Jul-2016
Pros: Fitness Room, Business Center & Pool & Spa
Really enjoyed our stay, always going to look for Hilton Garden Inn's 1st. Front Desk clerk Naomi helped us from the time I first called a day before our arrival with information, then when we arrived she greeted us with information I had asked about a day earlier.

Expedia stated hotel was less than 3 miles from UNT. Not true. It's over 7 miles away. We were so disappointed.

I chose this hotel each time I visit my college kid. It never lets me down. Pool and hot tub are nice, rooms are clean and comfortable.
