Moonwaters Holiday Cottage

Moonwaters is the most romantic getaway, overlooking Wilson Inlet on Weedon Hill. This cedar clad cottage sits amongst the Karri forest where a path leads to the Bibbulmun Track and a beautiful inlet beach. Moonwaters is simple yet has all the modern comforts for a family or couple. If you are seeking romantic seclusion it is perfect. There are three bedrooms, living and dining rooms, a bathroom with bath and a well-equipped kitchen. Chilly winter holidays can be spent bushwalking or at home by the pot belly stove with the piano, DVDs, free WIFI and Netflix to keep you entertained. You can barbeque amongst the trees to the sounds of the forest. Keep an eye out for the myriad of birds that will visit if an offering is made. About 3kms from Denmark town on Weedon Hill, Moonwaters is ideally situated to visit beaches, wineries and other local attractions. Moonwaters has a main bedroom with a queen sized bed, built in robe, bedside tables and a chest of drawers, another bedroom with a double bed and a third bedroom with twin single beds. All linen and towels are supplied. There are two rates: The high season covers school holidays including Easter and Christmas and New Year and all public holiday weekends. All other times are classified as low season. If you have friendly and well trained pets you are welcome to bring them along, however, we would appreciate it if you didnt allow them on the beds and furniture. A cleaning surcharge of $35 will apply to all approved pets that stay at Moonwaters.

Tranquility by the inlet
Moonwaters is in a beautiful setting near the inlet but also conveniently located for visiting the town. The cottage is well provisioned with all the basics you may need, the beds are comfortable and the shower has great water pressure! If the weather is not so great there’s comfortable couches and a big TV but we spent most of our time sitting on the deck relaxing and watching the birds come and go. So peaceful. That we booked to return in 6 months time before we left, should reflect how much we loved being at Moonwaters.

A Beautiful property with Amazing Bird life right in the middle of the Karri Forest.. walking tracks and a short drive too town With views of the Bay this was a perfect place to get away too... u will not be disappointed

Perfect location
Beautifully place among the karri trees over looking the wilson inlet. It was so lovely eating breakfast on the deck with the parrots and such great views. Lovely walks, great kayaking we had a very relaxing week. Great that we could take our dog too

Very nice location , enjoyed feeding and watching the birdlife that came everyday to the back porch area, including the Maggie's who came up and knocked on the door and window to let us know we were getting a bit slack with feeding them on time. The myriad of parrots, bronzewings , blue wrens etc. Were a true joy and privilege. House was very comfortable and quiet and in a lovely setting . Also convenient and not too far out of town. Lovely Aurora Australis , though I don't think this can be relied'upon to be there when you visir. 🤔😃 We enjoyed our stay immensely and can recommend this as a getaway experience. Perfect to unwind
Located in a stunning setting, it had everything we needed for our stay. Nice and cozy. We did have an issue but the communication with the owner was quick and was sorted out satisfactorily. It was also great to stay in a nice home with our dog. We would definitely stay again.
