We are a quiet and peaceful couple from the Midwest. We didn't bring pets. We stayed for two nights. The check in process was slick - went to a lock box in Maple Falls. The cabin was exceptionally clean. It's a private cabin tucked within a developing neighborhood just off the main road to Mt. Baker. We were pleased to enjoy the trail by the creek! We could see a snow capped mountain just a short walk from our cabin! After a long and beautiful hike at Mt. Baker, we were comforted knowing we were returning to this cabin. We took advantage of the hot tub. We even watched a VHS! The daytime temperatures were 50-70F, and we were comfortable without A/C. They did have a large fan available which was appreciated. The check out process was just as slick. We didn't know what to expect, and fortunately, this far exceeded our expectations. We have spent many weekends over the last four years staying at various cabins in the Mount Baker area and this one was our favorite. The kitchen is very large and comfortable and there are two bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The cabin has lots of room and is solid. Impeccably clean and an inviting gas fire.
