When booking for 4 people, select 3 guests. The house was built in 1898 for Thomas Rieby, a prominent politician, Premier of Tasmania and Colonial Secretary. It later served as the areas birthing hospital for over two decades from 1929. One or two queen size rooms are available each with their own ensuite. There is also a main bathroom with a claw foot bath. A gorgeous fully equipped kitchen and laundry are included together with a lounge room, dining room and relaxing sun room overlooking the gardens. TV, air conditioner and free wifi internet is available. There is heating in the bedrooms and main rooms. Located in the heart of Deloraine, the gateway to the majestic Great Western Tiers and Cradle Mountain ranges. It's the ideal base for trips to events, surrounding sights and the regions famous attractions. The township is located on the banks of the picturesque Meander River. Take a stroll along the beautiful river path and bridges and you may spot the resident platypus. Jane is a super host that leaves nothing to chance and goes that extra yard for the people lucky enough to stay in her home.
