The room itself was spacious, the beds good, quick warm water in the shower and practical windows that can be left opened a little bit at the top. What I didn't like about the room itself is that there were no drawers, no rack for drying towels in the bathroom, the lights in batch room going out whilst showering and the drain clogged up with hairs. But above all noisy: even snoring of a neighbor could be heard. The hotel is situated in an industrial area which means noise from an expedition centre opposite the hotel in the middle of the night. It's my understanding that there should have been a mention of possible noises on the website according to german consumers rights. I didn't get the single comfort room I've booked with a little kitchenette with a fridge as shown on expedia's website and to this day I don't know why. I've tried to sort this out with the reception, but was told that such a kichenette is only available in the more expensive in the business room. Fact is that I've seen in reality such a room as shown on expedia's website while it was being cleaned. One of the receptionists was quite rude in her language.

The price is quite convenient for a short stay . The localisation is in an industrial area far from the center but with 1 tram connection you can connect with city center in 15 minutes . Check in was not a pleasant experience , was informed to me that my room was the 436 that does not exists! Was half an hour in the 4th floor searching for my room that do no exist…. I the 4th floor last room is the 435. Seemed like a joke. Room itself has some maintenance problems (carpet was dirty , no air conditioner , some i blinds are broken , 1 room glass is popped . The room had a lot of space and access to a balcony but without air conditioner in a night with 30 degrees is not pleasant . I believe can be found better accommodation options in Leipzig

Alright for a day but wouldn't recommend for a longer stay. Restaurant attached to the hotel was closed for a week. Both soap dispensers were empty!!

The room was not prepared properly. The toilet had no toilet papers or towels in the bathroom. Had to make the trip to reception to ask for the basic things. The hot water kettle has lots of calcium build up

Worst property I’ve ever stayed in I travel all over the world the rooms were dirty the blow dryer did not work and the bathroom I had to go downstairs terms were never cleaned when I asked the hallways were dirty the staff upfront was not helpful at all unbelievable I felt like I should’ve gotten all my money back your Wi-Fi is the worst there are different Wi-Fi codes each person and then it doesn’t work and you have to go and get a new one like every hour not worth and stay don’t go to this hotel

This is a non-air conditioned hotel located very far from anything and in an industrial park area. Street parking is difficult among all the tractor trailers. The night staff were curt, unfriendly, & disorganized. They gave us keys to an already occupied room!

Cost effective. Staff were rude to start, though were helpful with some things during the stay. Initial room was not cleaned, and did not have the configuraiton ordered. Too much of a hike from reception to the rooms. Just not an amazing place to stay. I guess you get what you pay for!

Worst hotel I have stayed in
Photos online were clearly fake. The room was the most basic, dull room I have ever stayed in. The female receptionists attitude was absolutely disgusting. She wouldn’t even phone me a taxi to hospital when I dislocated my knee claiming the phones didn’t work which was clearly a lie. Avoid this place at all costs!

Decent Hotel for Few Hours, But Terrible WiFi
Not a great property, but I was only there for an overnight stay for a few hours. Got in late at night and left the next morning. For something like this it may do the job. However, the WiFi in the rooms is terrible. it kept disconnecting and when it did very sparsely connect it was super slow and practically unusable. It works in the lobby but that's not a great solution if you need more use because the lobby is small and hardly designed as a place to work. On the plus side, parking was behind the hotel and cheap.

Clean but simple.
It's a clean but simple setup. Excellent for a stopover we needed to make as it's very accessible to the autobahn. The attached Greek restaurant is quite good as a tip.

Wonderful staff
Cheap & cheerful hotel with staff that are friendlier than every upmarket hotel I have stayed in. We stayed at Novum as we were only driving through Leipzig so didnt need to be in the city centre. The hotel was well placed with easy access to the major road. Lovely big clean room with comfortable bed.

Great hotel which is clean and has fabulous facilities within the room, including fridge, kettle and microwave. Great restaurant attached. Roughly an 800metre walk to the local tram which goes straight into the town.

Visiting LEIPZIG
I selected this hotel because of its very attractive rates but also its proximity to the local conference centre . Its took about 30 minutes to walk there ; lovely as the weather was mild . However there are excellent tram services between the town centre and the conference centre also (20 minutes) and overall Leipzig is a nice place to visit . The hotel was fine and the adjacent Greek Restaurant very good too but if I return I will stay in the city centre .

The only concern we have is a restroom as a piece of beveled glass glass every time you go into the restroom your partner can see Doing your business and lights up the entire bedroom so will wake up your partner in the middle of the night I would change the class to a solid dark material instead not wake up your partner and you have more privacy

The hotel was close to my convention...so it was convenient. The staff were great and friendly...there was just one concern where I came down minutes after 10pm and there was someone still at the reception....but they would not help. Disapointing! The room was clean...but the noise from the neighbor snoring was like they were right next to me. Every time their phone messaging went off...I inadvertently grabbed mines to check it. That is to say that the walls are paper thin!! I finally turned up my TV and drowned out the noise....not right...but I had no other choice. The hotel was full and I was there for 1 week.

Rooms are big but without aircondition. The smell from canalization terrible. Can not open the windows at night because the noises from the main roads and trains. Far away from Leipzig. Location is terrible in industrial aria.

Have stayed before - not as well maintained as in the past - shower head broken - sink drains broken - fridge didn't work - dust under the bed. No airco which can be bad when warm which it was during our recent stay. Too much smoking for our liking on the front step and patio which drifts right into the hotel. Pluses are location and hotel stay are courteous and professional.

More privacy please!
I accidentally booked this hotel instead of another similarly sounding hotel in the same chain where we regularly stay in Leipzig. The room would have been more suited to a single person - the bed was by no means a 'queen' bed as advertised and there was inadequate lighting with only one bedside light on the one bedside table not accessible to both occupants. The shower, toilet, wash area was adequate but this is the worst example we have found so far, of many hotels' obsession with glass doors! This one had a large window as well, which although frosted did not give any privacy whatsoever, with a direct view of the toilet. The only light in the bathroom came on automatically and stayed on for several minutes, disturbing the other occupant when used at night, thanks to the glass doors and window. We had a very nice meal at the Cretan restaurant next door but it was the only choice unless you used your vehicle.
