The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were clean with nice amenities, and the staff were very attentative. The location is great as the hotel is a 10 minute walk to the subway which is easy to navigate as a foreigner. Delhi was experiencing historically cold temperatures at night. My central heating didn’t work at all. They brought in an electric portable heater to my room for us to use. Totally unacceptable! Also, why would this hotel turn off hot water in the night? The Shervani hotel needed to provide hot water 24/7 given the price of the room that we were paying. We could not bathe late night after 1am or early morning at 5:30am. The staff tried to fix it but it was not good enough. Upon arriving to our room, we found stains on the toilet seat. I had to call housekeeping at 10pm at night to clean it. Heater was not working in room. Called reception multiple times and they sent staff to assist. However, heater would only work for 30 minutes maximum. For the price paid which is almost 100 USD per night, this hotel is not worthy. Friends told me I could have stayed in a rated 5-star hotel for the price paid.
