Our family stayed here in between Great Sand Dunes NP and Mesa Verde. The house was nicely decorated, had everything we needed and was located in a nice, quiet and peaceful setting.
Perfect place for us to overnight. Plenty of room to stretch out after a long day on the road. Would enjoy more time on this property and look forward to our next stay!
The ranch was very comfortable and relaxing. We loved watching the cattle roaming throughout the day. There are numerous places to visit for hikes and fishing. We would stay there again.
Charming old farm house in cute little town near Great Sand Dunes National Park. Downstairs bathroom could use a bit of TLC (ceiling needs a bit of repair) but overall the house was lovely. Kitchen had everything you need, and there were ample beds for our large family. Would definitely stay here again.
Nothing fancy…just spectacular!! Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful area and the owner thought of everything. Beverages for us..paper products…we stay at a lot of rentals….by FAR the most comfortable bed and bedding we’ve had. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
A sweet stay for our short one nighter here. This would make for a great place to Basecamp for a longer stay and explore the amazing history, geology and natural wonders that surround Del Norte.
And hollyhocks!!!! :- )
Home was exactly as described in the listing. Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay at home in Del Norte. The beds, pillows and linens were so comfortable we all slept great! Home was decorated perfectly and very cozy. We had the freedom to walk around the property and just slow down, which was exactly what we needed to end our spring break adventure out west. Communication with the host was great. I appreciated list of local spots and welcoming drinks. Coming from Utah, we stopped at Four corners, Mesa Verde, Durango. We went to the Great Sand Dunes, Zapata Falls and had Ice Cream in town at Almost Home (made). Thank you for sharing!
Great communication with our hosts. The house was clean, comfortable and smelled nice. We were greeted with a friendly note and a fist for our honeymoon. Thanks Aubrey and Jake.
Side note, I don't remember seeing on the description that it is a working cattle ranch. That may be a detail that would influence one's decision. All in all, great stay!
Overall this house was in a great location for our plans for the weekend and provided a significant amount of space for our family to spread out. While it is listed as a three bedroom property, I would note that only one bedroom had a door. I knew the downstairs bed was open but had hoped for two bedrooms upstairs for our kiddos. However, it was still a very good property and a good fit for our needs! Would recommend for families and larger groups.
We love staying away from bust places when visiting! This place was perfect! The house was so comfortable and cozy! The place was well stocked with necessities and drinks in the fridge! Sitting outside watching the deer and chimp mucks was so soothing yet exciting! I would return and return to this place!! Don’t know what you missing by not staying here! The owner Aubrey responded quickly to messages and phone! Although I didn’t meet her, she is the sweetest lady! I am sure her husband is sweet too!
The host was very prompt to answer any questions. The cabin was very comfortable and had games the kids could play. We came to fish and did rail biking. A beautiful place on some acreage. Very family friendly.
What an amazing place, super close to DelNorte. Perfect quiet retreat from our many crazy but fun July 4th and wedding events. We would stay again for sure.
