We used a provided paddle boat and caught several award winning size bass and it took us very little skill. The largest was at sunrise at the dock, believe that or not! The home had great hot water and was a little outdated but absolutely perfect for a cabin getaway. There were a few bugs but hello were in the woods on a lake house on the water. I loved it and the kids did also. I want to start with people I interacted. The owner met us at the property and he is the nicest person in the World, I wish I meet more people like him in the day to day things. He welcomed and showed us the property, explained the location and things around, what can we do and so on. The property is clean and well stocked for anything you many need during your vacation. The view is amazing, the lake is amazing, very secluded and you feel isolated from the world which is great. The house itself is full of history which is another amazing experience we had. Now, what we didn't like- our vacation was too short and hope to come back next year! Mountain biking - 15 mins away, Lake, 30 seconds away, water activities - available close by as well.
