The space has been set up to accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably. The main floor includes a kitchen, living room, 1 king bedroom with ensuite full bath, another half bath with laundry room, back deck with tons of room to sit and relax with morning coffee. Downstairs includes 3 bedrooms, one queen bedroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a shared full bath. There also is a 4th bedroom with a queen sized murphy bed and private bathroom w shower stall. There is a shared small TV watching area and a ping pong table in the room with the murphy bed for a little more on site fun. The lower deck is covered from the elements and has the hot tub and additional seating. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to fix a large meal! All appliances are full size and smaller appliances like crock pot, blender, Keurig and drip coffee maker, cooking utensils and pots and pans, cookie sheets, strainers, knives etc. are included. Exceptionally well stocked for the pickiest cook. Approx. 8 miles to the closest grocery store but Instacart delivers from several stores if anything is forgotten. Wireless Wifi FIBER internet is perfect for everyone to work or for play. House has Direct TV with many of your favorite movie channels and sports channels. TV on main floor living room is a smart TV; the other TV\`s are not but you have a massive selection with the Direct TV package and a nice DVD collection in the lower level seating area. There is a covered Front porch and small fenced in yard area out front. Renters have access to the outdoor pool during the summer months as well as hiking trails, clubhouse, fitness center, tennis, campground, fishing, paddle boating, and more at no additional cost. Don’t forget to star gaze in the amazingly dark sky! Just minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Rocky Knob Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, New River Tubing, horseback riding at Leatherwood Stables, breweries, wineries, camping, fly fishing, and Elk/Laurel Creek, this property is perfect for your next family vacation. Drive less than an hour to ski or snow tube with the kids, 30 minutes to App State football games, and High Country festivals/concerts for more family fun! The house is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. All linens, starter paper towels and toilet paper provided. Dogs welcome with $50 fee, max two. Smoking is prohibited at all cabins and there is a $250 fine for anyone that smokes or vapes inside. There is no additional fee to use the community amenities. You will receive booking correspondence when you book that will have the combination to your house as well as your gate code. Please print this off prior to arrival. Fishing in the ponds within the community is welcome without a permit. If you fish on Elk Creek you will need a fishing license. The ponds are not for swimming but the river at the campground is a great place to take a dip! This house does not have an outdoor firepit but we encourage guests to reserve a campground site for their night of s\`mores! Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am. Parking is easy for 2 cars but we recommend parking additional cars in the overflow lot at the clubhouse which is less than a half mile away. You will need a car to get around. It was perfect to bring our dogs in the house and Yard is so accommodating for them. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. The house is decorated beautifully. Just love all the mountain features. Everything is so planned for you as a guest arriving. We only stayed in the top part of the house because it was just my husband and I but the downstairs is so very nice. Would be wonderful for a family. We thought the cost for the place was very affordable, especially for everything that came with the house. We can’t wait to go back. We wish it was available over Thanksgiving for us to bring the family. We’re already trying to find another time that we can reserve it for. We had such a good time we even extended our stay by two days and they were so accommodating to make the adjustments. Hope this helps future renters. Please don’t take the days that we want to come. It’s such a nice place. One thing we did enjoy about the place as well as we didn’t even need to go anywhere and we had a great time. Which was good because it’s on top of the hill And you have to go back down to the main room and then to Boone. It wasn’t bad but very windy.
