My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the MileyBright Farmhouse. Joe, the owner, was very pleasant and the house is beautiful. It was like stepping back in time. So pretty and inviting. The front porch was a great place to sit that evening and watch the world go by. Thanks Joe!
The hotel was close to Stone Mountain as promised. My room was updated and very clean; bathroom was larger than in other hotels I have stayed. There was quite a variety of different items offered for breakfast. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly.
I was very surprised by how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Every staff member but one greeted us with a smile, was eager to help, and make sure our stay was a pleasant one. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast consistently offered lots of choices.

We arrived at the hotel at 5:30 pm and we were told that they didn't have any of our type rooms available because they were short staffed and they were still cleaning. Thankfully we only had to wait about 10 minutes, but it did make me wonder - what would have happened if we arrived at 3:00 pm, which was their check in time?
The Georgia Perimeter College Botanical Garden in Decatur allows visitors to examine the ecology of the American Southeast. Stone Mountain’s exposed granite dome is a distinct landmark. Its bas-relief carving of Confederate heroes evokes the area’s complicated history. Described as a Southern Ivy, Emory University, located between Decatur and Atlanta, is one of America’s best private schools.
