A laid-back mountain vibe! CENTRAL Location to Everything in the Black Hills of South Dakota. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Situated off Highway 385 just south of Deadwood, in the heart of the northern Black Hills, this home is perfect for groups and families, small and large! The home has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a large open plan kitchen and dining area. BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: There are four bedrooms and two and a half baths in this home. The master bedroom, with a King size bed, and ensuite bathroom that has a walk in double headed shower. The other three bedrooms are located on the other side of the home and of course all with King Size beds. KITCHEN/DINING: The main floor consists of an open plan with the kitchen, dining and living room areas. You have access onto the decks from the main living area, garage and master bedroom. LIVING ROOM: Reclining lazy boy chairs and couches with recliners, big screen TV. OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Covered and uncovered decks, propane gas grill, flat iron grill and enough seating to just hang out the rest of the day with family and friends after a day of playing in the Black Hills. CLOSEST AIRPORT: It is just a 65-mile drive to Rapid City Regional. NEARBY ACTIVITIES: Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon, Nemo, Sturgis, Rochford, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Hill City, Keystone, Roubaix Lake, Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake, you get the idea, all is a close, this is a great location to do day trips to the best of the best of the Black Hills. This home was built with handicap grab bars inside and outside every door and bathroom. 36" doors that are accessible from the garage, master bedroom and bath, kitchen, dining and living room. We built 2- One Level cabins this past year. The owners have thought of everything - it is so unbelievably well stocked. The game room in the garage is a wonderful place to hang out. One of our children uses a power wheelchair and finding a cabin large enough for our family with wheelchair accessibility is tricky. The set up here worked great for access to bed, bath, kitchen, main living space, garage, and porch. The shower was large enough for use of a rolling shower chair (up over a small lip) and space for a caregiver. The bedroom had plenty of room for transfers in and out of bed. We have a full size van with a lift and they was plenty of parking space. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we could possibly need! We ventured out to Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore , Custer State Park, Rapid City, and nearby Lake Roubaix for fishing. Lots to see and do in the Black Hills! Jeri Jo and Kurt were great hosts! Very helpful with ideas for things to do and communication was easy! The online link to JoJo’s Cabin App was very helpful as well! Thanks for a wonderful stay! ##### Anna E. The host was the best, so accommodating and the house was beautiful and stocked with everything you would need. It was close to so many attractions, Mt Rushmore, crazy horse, devils tower, Needles highway, Custer State Park. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the elk bugling. They are like the relatives that you only see every few years and catch up instantly! Now…the “Cabin” is the ultimate retreat. Every amenity is there and accessible. The rooms are big, comfortable and luxurious. The decor is impeccable, rustic and elegant at the same time! The location is perfect for seeing the neighboring towns and historic sites. The construction on 385 made it harder to access the southern hills. The house is beautiful and well appointed. Beds comfortable. It is right off 385 so there is road noise.
