The trolley stop for hitching a ride downtown is half a block away and the Mickelson Trail for exploring or walking to Main Street is a block away. The quaint home is the perfect get away for enjoying the Black Hills and all that it offers. There is a covered porch to enjoy the great view. The kitchen, dining, and living area are spacious and bright for resting after a long day. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are one open area with a counter for additional seating, along with a dining room table for four. The appliances are all full sized. There are two TV's. One in the living room and one in the bedroom with cable access. There is a walk in shower with grab bars by the toilet. A stackable washer and dryer is available for use. The bedroom has a queen size bed with an adjustable base and large closet. There is a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. It was close to all we wanted to do, short drives to Mt Rushmore, The Badlands, Devils Tower, Spearfish Canyon The cottage was cozy and comfortable and had all the amenities anyone could ask for, and very clean. We would definetely stay here again. We really enjoyed all the history in the town of Deadwood and enjoyed the re-enactments of Wild Bill’s final card game and the trial of Jack McCall, shoot outs in the street, and exploring Mt Moriah Cemetery. The cabin was absolutely perfect...Everything about it was spot on !!!.. From the time we checked in until we checked out .. The cabin was spotless and very cozy... And the owners spoiled us with fresh baked goods... we could not have had a better experience... Would highly recommend... We will definitely be back..
