Awesome great room with stone fireplace, 70” Smart TV, & great flow to the dining area & extremely well-appointed kitchen. We are across from the Deadwood Gulch Casino, the Mickelson Trail, & a short trolley ride to Downtown Deadwood. The studio has a private entrance, a kitchenette, pool table, 70” TV & more. Great location close to the Hills & the excitement of Deadwood. The cabin is it just 7 miles away from the Terry Peak Ski Area and is just minutes away to world class snowmobile trails in the winter and ATV trails in the summer. The famous Mickelson Trail is across the road, so hop on your bike or slip on your trail shoes and take in the beauty of "The Mick". You are also just a short walk to the Deadwood Gulch Resort and Casino, with restaurants, gaming, and a Deadwood Trolley stop all less than 1000 yards away. If your ideal vacation is full of relaxation or full of get up and go, Thunder Ridge has you covered either way. Thunder Ridge is easy to get to, but hard to leave, so book your stay today and come enjoy all that Deadwood and the Northern Black Hills has to offer! \~ This driveway has a fairly steep grade (roughly 10%). If you are traveling in winter, 4-wheel drive is required. If you are pulling a trailer of any kind, 4-wheel drive is recommended during any season because of the grade. There is some gravel on this driveway, motorcycle drivers should use caution. \~ This is the Black Hills of South Dakota, so be prepared to see wildlife outside. Make sure all doors or screens are kept shut to keep them outside. \~ We will not override our cancellation policy due to weather. This also includes lack of snow for skiing & snowmobiling, or too much rain causing muddy ATV/UTV trails. We have tried everything in our power to control the weather, but apparently there is not an app for that yet. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance during the checkout process during booking.
