My father-in-law just loved watching out the windows facing main street. An acting crew had drawn a crowd and there was a shoot-out acted out that was so unexpected and so fun to watch. The photos of the rooms are very accurate, yet don't do the place justice. The mood was set with stories on the walls of what each room served as, complete with a girl having been murdered in the bathtub by some of her co-workers for stealing johns from them. There is no place better we could have stayed. Kurt is a very gracious, conscientious and responsive host. There was nothing we lacked during our stay. We had a complimentary drink in the saloon downstairs, visited Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Wall Drug and even took in a PBR event. For those newbies, that is Professional Bull Riding.
