The staff were amazing and very helpful. The property is well taken care of, you can tell the staff try, but could use some new flooring in the guest rooms.

The heat control was an issue. We turned down the thermostat but had to leave the patio door open to cool off the room it registered 23 the whole time.

We stayed for a night as my gift for my partner’s birthday and the view is amazing. The front desk staff were very friendly and engaging in conversation. Me and my partner plans to stay here again probably in the summer.

The property is very old and rundown. The room was clean but a bit of a strange decor and old. I would not stay again.

Really enjoyed central/Downton location next to bow River. Friendly, responsive staff and bright, spacious room. Shared microwave on each floor was useful. Property and room dated, but very clean. They were starting to replace carpets, which was a good idea. Appreciated access to pool/hot tub/steam room facilities at Banff park Lodge next door as well as their underground parking. Learned they have pet friendly rooms, so I may be back.

Enjoyed the location of the hotel and proximity to area attractions and restaurants. There is free parking which is a definite bonus! Hotel is older but the rooms are spacious and staying at this hotel allows guests access to amenities at sister hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

Overall really nice experience. Nice location. Friendly staff. Room service was good. Located right in Banff with lots of dining options at a walking distance. Parking was a bit inconvenient as we had to walk across the street to the parking lot of another hotel that shares the parking space, and there was no direct elevator access from the garage to Bow View Lodge (had to walk suitcases across to our hotel) as well pool amenities are shared and located in the hotel adjacent to Bow View Lodge. But it was a good experience overall, the hotel was clean, rooms are nice and cosy and the view from the balcony was nice.

Property is dated but clean and quiet with the bonus of included access to Banff Park Lodge pool, fitness and dining facilities. Good value in a quiet location near the river and all the shopping and dining options central Banff has to offer.
