This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. The kitchen table and counter were sticky and visibly dirty. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The bathroom floor had not been mopped for a long time.

No real complaints. Clean and organized well enough, room well equipped. Parking was a little lacking but not much they can do about it. They were accommodating with regards to "creative" parking so don't be afraid to park where you fit!

I was charged a $50 security deposit upon check in that was not detailed when making the reservation. The pool was closed. The room was not serviced during my stay.

Floors were dirty, the room hasnt been upgraded in a long time other than the shower which had to done after the hurricane. The rest of the bathroom was sketchy. Neigborhood seemed good.

This place is not bad for the money. It definitely looks like they are trying. Place was moderately clean and smelled fresh.
Positives:
Nice TV, Large room, Location, water pressure, very quiet, climate control
Negatives:
Mattress is extremely firm - almost hard, very outdated furnishings
The manager was super nice and helpful me carry my suitcase up the stairs because they didn’t have a handicap one available. My issue not theirs. Still in repairs due to hurricane Irma so not so pleasant on the eyes. Big things I hated was bathroom sink barely drained and no hot water either morning to shower. Almost felt like it was already used up. In a lot of physical pain so a hot shower would have been nice.
The manager at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than check in time but he checked us in anyway. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
When I entered the room smelled clean and I was impressed with the size. My room 109 had a stove, microwave and full refrigerator. I like the step in Shower instead of a tub. I also like the no key enter. Convenient Laundry access. There was a deck on the second floor to see the ocean. At this time the pool and beach entry was not accessible because of hurricane damage. I could see the ocean, but no access. There is repair being done. Access is easy, only one lot over to a public access. This is not a fancy place, it is a motel. Expect that when you are looking. I had an excellent stay and recommend it for someone who wants to relax by the beach and feel safe and clean accommodations.
The kitchen towel was never refreshed as it still had pizza in it from prior occupant. AC needs some help. It is not dehumidifying. Kitchen needs extensive updating, refrig is rusty, stove is not much better. Bed are ok but need new pillows.
Just came over from Apopka to go see Katt Williams perform at the Ocean Center. The Sand Castle hotel was reasonably priced and not to far from the venue. The bathroom didn't have a fan, and the window didn't have a screen and wouldn't stay up. The half curtain was placed at the top of the window in the shower leaving me feeling a little exposed in a room overlooking the sidewalk. The curtain rod was spring loaded though so moving it for more privacy while showering wasn't an issue. The chair by the bed was a little old and worn. I was pleasantly surprised by the kitchenette and dishes. All in all not a bad place to crash for the night.
It was a very friendly and clean motel. Still suffered a lot of damage from a hurricane. No pool no walkway to the beach but it wasn't too bad because you could walk to the beach right beside the motel. I would recommend people to stay there. If they're not looking for a five-star motel cuz you're not going to find that there.

He charged a $100 deposit in case i got room dirty. I've never paid a charge like this. Its a tiny, plain room without carpet. I don't c how a person could get dirty beyond just normal use. Nothing fancy about this tiny room.
It is an older motel.the pool still out of order from last years storm , short staffed, but very helpful. The Tv didn't work all of the time and there wasnt a phone in the room.
This is an okay property for a one or two star property. There's a kitchenette but i was skeptical on whether to use the stove due to it's age. Saw very few bugs. The ones I saw were dying or dead, which tells me the property uses pest control. All in all, for the money, this was okay. Just keep in mind the price, it's star rating and age. Very nice office staff.
Disappointed no pool or to beach access. Very devastating. No fault of yours. But we wish we knew earlier. We would’ve made other arrangements. Staff was nice to us

Property needs to be updated from storm and should be noted on their site. Rooms need some updating. Otherwise great location for easy trip back and forth for Rockville festival. Staff at front desk was super helpful.
Becky was amazing I got there late and she called to make sure I was still wanting the room stay after her shirt to bring my room extra blankets and pillows Becky was so sweet with great customer service She is definitely highly recommend to talk with.
