20 Year Wedding Get away Disaster
Well we booked online for a oceanview room and when we got there they were supposedly all taken but if we agreed to pay an additional 35.oo cash they thought they might have found one so we did. room was not ready until 5:00 pm when we got in it there was only 2 towels no washcloths no toiletries the tub was dirty and had mold aroumd the rim and the entire hotel was under construction

Needs to be CONDEMNED!
The hotel should be condemned! There were 4x4s supporting balconies, holes around the windows, AC barely working-kept room at around 80 degrees, a leak in the bathroom ceiling-dripping over the toilet area. They would NOT transfer us to another hotel (but others were being transferred) I just want my money back!!! So far, I have heard NOTHING from hotel mgnt or HOTELS.COM

Really not the best accommodations
The staff at the front desk was wonderful, but the place itself is a dump. There was dust and dead bugs in the rooms. I was itchy from the bed and did not feel clean until I showered at my house. The blinds pad missing pieces and the curtains did not close the entire way. The TV did not work.

Nightmare hotel
It was awful the rooms were so bad. The beds were broke not to say so old. The blinds had holes in them and were broke also. The curtains did not go across the windows to block out sun. The lock on back door was broke and the one on front door could have been easily kicked in. We were put in one room first that was 90% worse. The front desk lady gave us a choice of three other rooms. Not really a choice. The room cost $145.00 I wouldn’t stay there again if I was paid to.

The staff were great, very accommodating and helpful. They were going through some renovations so it was expected to have things happen and the hotel not look so great with the remodeling. I always like to stay here and the location is perfect for walking to anywhere you need to go!

The pictures online have to be 20 years old. You could say it's under construction but I think it's really just permanent patch work. There a literally plywood sheet in areas were the guard rails are missing on every floor.. Upon arrival we were told we would have to wait for our room to be finished.... when we were finally given our keys the room had not never been cleaned and looked like frat party hd taken place the night before. Actual toilet paper covered with poop left on floor. When we returned to the office the maid had left for the day..lol.. and they tried to offer us another room but the door knob broke off when they went to open it and I guess the handyman went home for the day too. This place is an absolute joke and unless your looking for a place to through a frat party, BEWARE..even then think twice as this place should be condemned. It is the by far worst place I have ever rented . Truly disgusting and filthy.

The hotel wasn't bad but also wasn't the nicest place either. Drywall was bubbling up on the ceiling in the bathroom where it looked like the unit aboves bathroom might be leaking. The beds were old spring mattresses that were not comfortable at all, really need to be updated. But since I was only in the room at night to sleep it was fine.

The room I booked through Expedia didn’t even exist at the hotel and the excuse I got was “we recently changed to new systems”. The only discount they offered for their mistake was to not charge me a resort fee and gave me a roll out bed which was bogus. Everything was stained; covers, sheets, pillows, towels, rags, and couch. My family sprayed 2 cans of disinfectint just to feel safe enough to sit or lie down. The tile floor was not swept or mopped, the tub was dirty, and a baby roach came from under the dresser. The room itself was a nice size, the kitchen was a nice size but the cleanliness was awful. Had to keep shoes or slides on the whole time.

Wasn’t at all as described when booked.
We were supposed to have a non smoking room, the smell was like a fresh smoked cig hit us in the face every time we walked in the room. Very nauseating!!! The lock on the door was rusted around it, you could see daylight around it. Was told there was iron and blow dryer and wasn’t. The people in the office were very nice and helpful , just wasn’t impressed with the room with how it was described.

Our stay at Daytona Inn Beach Resort was not a very good one. We entered the room and the door handle fell off. The bathrooms were gross and the bed was horrible. The room was cheap but this place was well below my lowest standard for a place to crash for the night. Run down and honestly a little scary.

Great for a quick, cheap getaway
This place was just ok. Not your traditional Home Away property since it’s a hotel set up as far as check in/out and housekeeping is concerned. Our main issues were with cleanliness. The floors were absolutely filthy! Left our feet black from the moment we took our shoes off. There were also tiny bugs everywhere but they didn’t bother us for the most part so we dealt with it. Other than that this property served its purpose just fine! Centraly located to everything wih great beach access. Considering the amount of affordable rentals in the area this place needs to step its game up! It’s also worth noting that you can book this property through Expedia for a cheaper rate which I obviously realized too late!

We have stayed here numerous times but this will be the last. The condition and service had really gone down hill! We stayed for 6 nights and when we checked in our room was not available so they put us in an ocean view room for one night! So we had to move all our stuff the next day. Then the room we got was supposedly “newly refinished “ what a joke ! Plus the key to the room was an actual Key!! And there was only one so the next day we had to get some to go and make another key because that was the only one! This hotel has been under construction for a few years now but I don’t see much improvement and I think most of the “guest “ are actual residents or workers.

The staff was great! The location was great! BUT... the place needs A LOT of work! It looks like they maybe getting ready to begin renovations which is great news. Furniture outdated... sheets did not look clean... appliances did not work properly... tub was old and stained. This motel is definitely “you get what you pay for”

Dieses Hotel war für uns eine riesen Enttäuschung. Die Entschuldigung für den Zustand des Hotels war der Hurricane Matthew 2016. Es wäre jedoch fair, würde man dies auf der Website erwähnen, so kann man bei der Buchung Entscheiden, ob man in einer Baustelle wohnen möchte oder eben nicht.

Great Stay!
We got there early in the morning around 10:00 a.m. and they gave us a parking pass to park in the parking lot after confirming our reservation. They even let us use the pool/facilities while we waited for check in time! The location was awesome, close to everything! We didn't have any issues with the neighborhood, thought if felt touristy, not trashy. The lady/staff at the front desk was awesome and we got to select from two different style rooms too! We know they are under renovation so we dismissed the cosmetic issues they had outside the building. Our room was clean and updated, the pool was relaxing and clean. We loved, loved, loved our stay there! We will be back again hopefully soon!

Unfortunately, I could not sleep in the bed
Had another ocean-view room been available, I would have moved rooms, but it was not, so I patiently waited as the door lock was replaced and TV remote replaced on my 1st night. Sadly, late in the night, I discovered the bed was broken so I had to sleep on the couch. I reported this before leaving for the day, but it was NOT fixed. The evening front desk person was kind enough to TRY to fix it, but was unable... so I was stuck with the couch again since I valued the oceanfront that made me select this location. Luckily, I had only booked for 2 nights. Unfortunately, I booked this through Orbitz, so the hotel would not issue a partial refund and the manager NEVER RETURNED MY CALLS. I would say that Spring Break college students may LOVE this place based on the location. And, families looking for a no-frills hotel close to the beach would be fine. However, PLEASE be sure to lay on the beds to make sure the previous customers did not break it.

Not the best, not the worst. Close to the boardwalk and Main Street. If you use the pool make sure is Day light. As soon as it gets little dark, the security guard is gonna ask you to get out of the pool.understandable since there is no lights in the pool (strange)

Upon check in we were informed the ac was down,but would be working soon. It never got resolved. But wait there is more!!! Ocean front room with a balcony door that would not open,and a window that was corroded shut lol. Back around 1am from a night of beach bar hoping,the desk clerk had to come up and remove the balcony door dead bolt and door handle. Thank god we were hammered because we passed out. The hotel is in ill repair and desperately needs work done. Stayed here in the past and was pleased. This stay was awful.

We understand this area had an indirect impact from Hurricane Matthew. The construction that is still being finished up is completely understandable and was of minimal inconvenience. However, we stayed in four different rooms over spring break and two of them had issues that seem easy to resolve. There was a strong odor in one of the rooms that we couldn't really identify and the blinds had entire sections cut out and the drapes were far too small to completely cover the windows. As such, anyone walking by could easily look inside. The other room had rust-colored water coming from the bathtub faucet. The balcony view from the ocean view rooms was very nice and these rooms were very decent and well-appointed. The restaurant on property was very good and had great service, including free Thursday pool tables. The resort is close to everything and it does have a nice pool (a little too cold to swim while we were there). I would stay here again, but I would want to see the property improve the issues with the rooms. Service was pretty decent although check-in was a bit slow (still have to fill out guest cards for each room. This could be a local ordinance requiring it, but it seems like something they could print from a computer for the guest to sign).

My husband and I stayed in room 122. After reading reviews we almost didn't book this room, but the location was awesome so we did. Well to our surprise the room was awesome! It was very beachy decorated. The view was oceanfront and beautiful, right over the pool too. Shower was great. The beds slept great. We even ended up staying an extra night and Nicole let us stay in the same room. We had a great experience at this hotel and will definitely be back.
