everything was okay so they put me way in the back. Its not the best hotel but its good for the price so i cant complain too much.

Clean hotel horrible staff

When I first got to the hotel I got my room key, I had to ask for the Wi-Fi information and the young lady at the desk acted as if it were an inconvenience and then proceeded to shove the information in the holder with the key hands it to me without telling me my room number or location. When I got to the room the sink didn't drain properly, the bathroom door was broken and the coffee maker did not have all the pieces to it. I went and asked for a new room, with no apology I was given a new room key. Once again the lady had an attitude. In the morning when I went down to the breakfast they had a sign that advised you are not allow to take the breakfast to your room. Huh??? I'm confused I paid more money for my room because of the breakfast and unfortunately I was up late I am going to ask. I go ask and am rudely informed that is our policy and you can't take it with you. Can I speak with a manager, there is no manager. I then watched an entire family proceed to their room with their food at which point I did the same. I have never seen that sign at days inn before I don't believe it is company policy and I will be making a formal complaint. Having said that if you don't mind rude staff the hotel is clean and from what I can tell all the other rooms are properly maintained after all they did just have a hurricane, if not for the rudeness of the staff they would have gotten a 5 but to me customer service makes or breaks a business.

Close to the Speedway.

Pros: Location. Comfortable.
Cons: They have been improving it a lot since my first stay there a few years ago.
Location: Lots to do if you are in town on a vacation.
It was as expected. I did not need to ask for anything. After working all day it was great to get to my room that had everything I needed. Breakfast in the dining room is always a treat and is not an extra expense..

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: GRAND OPENING SIGN FOR WHAT? NOTHING LOOKED AS THOUGH IT HAD BEEN REFURBISHED SINCE THE YEAR IT WAS BUILT
Location: WE NEEDED TO BE NEAR THE SPEEDWAY. THAT IS WHY WE CHOSE THIS SPOT. WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS
THE PLACE WAS TERRIBLE. STAYED 4 NIGHTS AND DO NOT BELIEVE THEY CHANGED THE TORN SHEETS ONCE! SOILED BEDSPREADS. WALLS OF SHOWER FULL OF SOAP SCUM. SIZE OF THE COMMODE WAS FOR A CHILD, NOT AN ADULT. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! WHAT WAS THE GRAND OPENING SIGN FOR? PAID TOP $$ TO STAY IN A DUMP!

Close to speedway

It was worth what I paid, It is dated hotel, there was a lot of construction equipment, trucks, trailers, so parking was hard to find, I did not like parking my where i could not see from my window.

This was the filthiest hotel room that I have ever been in. Staff did not care and made no attempt to correct the situation. Very disappointing!!!

Pros: nothing
Found dead roach beside bed. Spider in face towel. Bathtub had black stuff on bottom. This place needs a good cleaning. Also paint on floor. Had holes in bedsheets. Nasty place.

Mop the floors!

Our room had vinyl floors. My friend took off his shoes, walked across the room, propped his feet up and they were black. 4 appliances, only 2 outlets. Can't have your coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer and refrigerator in operation at the same time. Would think the refrigerator would be priority, but the hair dryer and microwave were plugged in when we arrived. Stains on the shower curtain. Not a good experience!
