However, the listing photos do not accurately represent the current state of the property.Upon arrival, I was given an incorrect door code. While the host provided the correct one quickly, the lock batteries were low; I reported this, but they were never replaced. When I entered, the patio door had been left wide open, leaving the room uncomfortably hot and humid.The unit has several maintenance issues: three dehumidifiers run constantly, multiple kitchen outlets are non-functional, and the toaster oven is ineffective. Most concerning was a broken outlet cover near the nightstand that left electrical contacts exposed. While the room is decent, the view from the balcony is of two derelict, green pools and a condemned sea wall. The building hallways have a strong odor, and the neighborhood felt unsafe after dark. The views from the room are amazing! Absolutely loved making a cup of coffee and sitting outside and listening to the waves. There are multiple dehumidifiers spaced throughout the rooms to decrease the humidity that is typical for florida weather. Upon arriving at the room we noticed that it needed to be lightly cleaned as a space typically does if it is sitting vacant for a while. During our stay the owners of the building were repairing multiple parts due to damage that was sustained presumably from hurricanes. Once the work on the buildings are finished this place will be even more wonderful. Despite the work being done around the building we had a wonderful stay.
