Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly, it was a good place to stay for the short term. The site's run down. Entrance to parking lot is rough drive at end of road. Always had to use phone at front desk to contact agent, short-staffed? Beds were comfortable. The room I had was on side of the interstate and heard lots of noise on first night's stay. Trucks gearing down and loud tailpipes rumbled through room. I had to use a background noise app on phone to help get some sleep. Needs noise suppression on that side. No elevators. My mother stayed in a smoking room and has trouble with balance and walking and they didn't have a better way to get her to the 2nd floor. Really could use some assistance in that department. No noise issues in her area of the motel. Overall, I would come back to this if no other place was available. It was good for the price and we didn't have any issues that would prevent us from returning.

The property outside looked a little derelict, but pleasantly surprised how clean it was and how pleasant the staff were. Everthing worked in our room, beds were good and breaskfast was enjoyable. All for a reasonable price. Will go back.

Normally I don't review but even though this property looked REALLY sketchy on the outside, the inside was VERY nice!! Very clean & fresh & up to date. The staff was very nice & personable. I would stay here again without hesitation & recommend it to others

Terrific value for the money charged imo. The room was clean and well organized. While I initially detected an odd odor upon entering the room, it didn't seem to affect my overall comfort. The king bed was a little on the firm side for my personal preference but I was still able to get a decent sleep. I did find a noticeable stain on the fridge glass shelf, I wasn't too concerned although, it did suggest the staff either missed it or simply ignored it. Also, a minor nit pik...housekeeping staff left about 10 sheets on the toilet paper roll in the dispenser and I found that to be a bit strange. All in all, I can't complain at all. The check in process was efficient (FYI, I did preregister and pay for the room) and the breakfast offerings were decent and abundant. If needed, I'd not hesitate to book another room at this property.

Fine hotel for the money. Obviously I was not looking for the ritzy kind of place, just a clean bed. It is very clean and the breakfast is good, especially for the low price. Area not fantastic and up against highway, but good windows limit noise. I’d stay again for sure

Ok to sleep there in a pinch.
Breakfast was ok. The fitness center was a joke. No heat, scanty dumbbells, and unserviced equipment. The room smelled like air freshener but was not well maintained and the edges of things were poorly kept up and no attention to detail. The sheets were appeared clean.

Average hotel, but staff is friendly. Door had chunk missing where someone had forced lock. Felt a little unsafe at first, but nice bed and room was clean. Close to restaurants and gas.

Good for what it is
The staff were very friendly. A good assortment of breakfast items were available -- however it was hard to access the milk jug in their small fridge if a customer was standing at the coffee station next to it. Individual milks would have been easier to grab. Our first morning stay, a large number of people were there for a conference. Different food items / tableware had completely run out. It seemed only one employee was trying their best to work front desk, fix meals and keep up with restocking. I felt bad for them! ... as for the hotel itself, the room was a bit shabby but bed was very comfortable. My only big complaint: the hallways absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. I had to hold my breath while walking from my room to the lobby!

NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN
Printed confirmation for king suite with recliner and no smoking. Arrived and given two queens with a smoked smelled hallway and lighter smoke room! Had to wear a mask in room to breathe! Recliner had no pull or button and took a lot for husband to open but very uncomfortable. Went to desk and ask for another king room but was told they were confirmed queen ... had one king with recliner available but was a dog friendly room and might smell. Told them about the smokey hallway and room smelled bad but to no advantage. Paid $125 for a horrible room! .

The whole experience was not good! The place smelled horrible! All throughout the hotel! The refrigerator in our room made an awfully loud noise about every couple of hours waking us up in the night!

Staff was very nice and welcoming. The outside needs tlc. Upon walking inside it initially look inviting until you look at the couch and loveseat which are both peeling and need replacing. The entire place smells like cigarettes even the non-smoking rooms. The first room appeared clean but the toilet was leaking terribly around the base we immediately switched to the room next door. When we returned to the room after dinner a small roach walked across the bedroom counter. All in we killed 3 roaches and after complaining were refunded $22 of the 125.00 for that night. Will never stay there again.

When we checked in ,the room was very nice but not as I saw in the room choice online, I went to the front desk, and they checked to see what I booked online, and corrected the issue immediately, they were very pleasant and professional, my Wife and myself were very pleased with the room and courtesy of the staff.

Highly recommended! Staff was super friendly! Was told it was renovated in 2019 and it showed! Our room and entire hotel was clean and inviting. Room was good size and the beds were very comfy. I had no problem feeling safe and falling asleep easy. I visit this area every summer for different nearby attractions (baseball games in Cincinnati, kings island and family etc). So far this has been the best hotel especially for the price. Only thing I seen that could be an issue is no elevator. I had no problem with using the stairs and was happy on the 2nd floor but it might be harder for others. My family and I will be returning for future visits. :)

Property located near interstate hwy, but noise was not an issue. Breakfast was very good with both hot and cold choices. Room was not made up one day but they quickly provided clean towels and removed used ones when we returned. Excellent motel, especially at the rate charged.

The dirtiness of the room. Dead bugs in bathroom floor. The odor of smoke in the nonsmoking rooms is terrible. Will never stay there again.
