Close to WPAFB, Downtown, Wright State The best place to stay when visiting the National Air Force Museum. It's open year round, entrance is free, and you even can walk to the museum if you want :) You will also be very close to all the Wright Patterson AFB entrances and only 5 minutes to Wright State University, only 10 minutes to the Nutter Center (for watching various shows) and Downtown Dayton - including the Oregon District, University of Dayton, Schuster Center, Miami Valley Hospital, and others. Perfect for vacation or work! The space: This cozy home has two bedrooms with queen beds that can sleep 2 (or 3 kids if needed) and an extra rollaway bed if you need it. The living room has a TV with local channels and Netflix and streaming TV channels via SlingTV... the other bedroom also has their own TV also with Netflix if you'd like to watch your own shows. A DVD player and lots of DVDs are also available for your entertainment, as are various books, comic books and board games for the kids. If you are an outdoors person, a bike lane is right in front of the home. This will connect you to the major bike lanes in town and even to other cities like Tipp City, Troy, and even to Cincinnati if you wish! (see for more information) Areas of the home: You have full access to the Kitchen (full size fridge, stove, microwave, coffeemakers, toaster, utensils) to save money by cooking your own food, as well as laundry facilities (washer and dryer in basement) if needed. You will have a driveway to park your car in and extra parking spaces if needed at the front of the property. Other information: The back of the house is close to a railroad track (there is another house between us and the track) and you can sometimes hear a train coming through (sounds like rain pouring) for about 1-2 minutes .. about 3-4 times a day. Not loud enough to really disturb you, especially if watching TV. It's a pretty good experience to see the train as it goes by though.. you don't see that often nowadays. No parties please. This is a quiet neighborhood and we'd like to keep it that way. Disclaimer: For your safety and the safety of others, surveillance cameras are installed outdoors at this property. The private drive made it nice to load and unload. Kitchen fully stocked. Rooms and beds clean and stocked with plenty of bedding. Game area in basement and multiple TVs made this the perfect landing spot between soccer tournament games. If you’re attending a big soccer tournament, this house is centrally located to all complexes. Security code specific to guest which made me feel safe knowing nobody else had a current code. Beds were good with foam pillows. Bathroom is small with some age showing, but everything worked fine, and shampoo, conditioner and body soap is provided in small cupboard behind bathroom door. Gerald the owner was excellent in communicating with us. One of the best VRBO owners we’ve had in this regard. This house is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of convenient parking. We wish we'd had more time to visit the Airforce museum again, but we did an overnight stay this time. We got a game or two of air hocky in before we left. Was across the highway from the USAF Museum with parking in the gated driveway. Had everything you need and was very quiet at night. The bed was comfortable but the only issue I had was that the bed was very low to the floor and if you've got bad knees it's a little difficult but that in no way detracts from the house itself. ##### Kitty H. We had a wedding to attend and it was a quick wkend trip. We had trouble with booking via vrbo site itself and the owner was great to work with over that. The kids enjoyed the game room, the train nearby didn’t sound as close as it was and wasn’t a problem for us . This was perfect location for our stay. The airforce museum is right accross the street , and Pettitbon coffee is like a mile down the road (highly recommend). We would stay here again. ##### Cheyenne M. The house was perfect for our needs and right across the street from the museum. It was easy check in, clean, lots of TVs with Roku and kitchen properly supplied.
