Welcome to the Etowah River! This luxury river estate is located on a quiet and private stretch of the river. Bring your fishing pole, your tube, or just a good book and sit down by the fire pit on the river's edge. This river home features three levels of decks overlooking the river, including an outdoor gas fire pit. The main floor consists of an expansive living area and wood-burning fireplace, as well as a bedroom with a king bed. Upstairs is a luxurious master suite with walk-in shower and closet. The lower level features two more bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with two full-over-full bunk beds), as well as a large game room with a putting game, pool table, and bar area. Also, this home is located near the infamous Etowah River Mine tunnel, so there is no limit to the outdoor adventure that awaits you. We do not provide kayaks or tubes, but you are welcome to bring your own and enjoy the river. Please wear life jackets if doing water sports. The cabin is 18 minutes/9.8 miles to downtown Dahlonega and \- 8 minutes to Castleberry Bridge Recreation Area \- 9 minutes to Dahlonega Butterfly Farm \- 20 minutes to the Chestatee and Achasta golf courses \- 24 minutes to Montaluce Please let us know if you need to know the distance to any particular winery or venue. Same-day bookers: Do not book for the current night without confirming the unit is available and ready for check-in. Long stays: If your stay is longer than 10 days, extra fees may apply. Please inquire before booking. Property Notes: \- Cell phone service is limited at the cabin, but Wi-Fi calling is available. The Wi-Fi speed is around 300 Mbps download. \- Campers and trailers only with approval. \- Swim in the river at your own risk. \- A canoe and life jackets are provided, but you will be responsible for transportation. More info can be found in the info binder at the property. \- Do not mail anything to yourself at this address as there is no mailbox. Important things to know: • Pets are not allowed. • There is a $37 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $750 in accidental damages, if guest reports damage that happens during their stay. Intentional damage, unreported damage, or anything exceeding $750 will be charged to the guest's payment method. • We provide 1 roll of paper towels, bar soap, hand soap, toilet paper, and plenty of towels and linens. • We offer firewood available on-site to purchase for $10 per bundle (including tax). We can also arrange a delivery of 50 pieces for $60 (including tax) if you let us know 7 days in advance of your stay. Please message us if you are interested. • We have a propane grill, and we provide propane. • Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $25 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour.
