Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, plenty of towels. Served the purpose for us after reservations elsewhere were cancelled last minute due to a water issue. Some things are a bit dated and in need of repair, but overall good and homey. Very convenient to Timberline. The amenities and charm of the small town of Davis harkens back to a forgotten time of simplicity and neighborly care. The nearbyhorseback trails and petting zoo provided a commune with the natural world that we craved in this colorful time of year and the close hiking trails and waterfalls are worth every step of the way. It was nice to be close to natural areas to explore like Blackwater Falls SP, Dolly Sods/Bear Rocks, and Seneca Rocks. It was rainy and dreary due to the tropical storm and set the scene for a wonderful lazy long weekend for relaxing in the hot tub, napping, and making good food. Beds were cozy and kitchen well-supplied. We loved staying in to play games on rainy days and the easy access to mountains and waterfalls for hiking on nicer days. We loved our stay at Skier's View! The view from the deck and hot tub is gorgeous! The house is airy, comfortable, and just what we wanted for vacation. There are two state parks within 10 miles, and the Blackwater SP has incredible mountain views - highly recommend! The other state park has a lovely golf course. Thank you, Colleen! The views of the trees, fields and ski resorts were beautiful. In the morning we saw deer in the fields. In the evenings the lights from the ski resorts sparkled. We had 4 adults and 4 children in our party and the house was a just right size. The home was comfortable and the kitchen was easy to work in. ##### Leslie H.
