Sam's Cabin is a genuine mountain treasure. Everyone in our Best of Canaan office wants to stay at Sam’s Cabin. Is it the traditional log cabin look, the spacious yard, or the comfort you feel as soon as you open the door? I really do not know, but I want to stay there too! Hikers and hunters will love the fact that Sam’s Cabin borders the Monongahela National Forest. Take a hike and then spend the night in total comfort. The cabin offers a well -equipped kitchen, WIFI, and smart TV’s. You can plan tomorrow’s adventure while you relax on the back deck or the large front porch. Unwind in the outdoor hot tub, cook the perfect meal, and rest by the fireplace. A good night’s rest and you are ready for another Canaan Valley adventure! Come stay and play. Reviewer Comments: The house was very spacious, but only having 1 window unit to cool the main level, and a full basement is crazy to me. When we arrived it was 86 degrees inside. It took almost 24 hours for the temperature to drop to under 80 degrees.
