This beautiful home has picturesque views, TVs in every room, and a fully-equipped kitchen. You'll also enjoy access to the beach and the waters of the Mississippi Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The open living space is beautifully furnished with lots of seating, large flat screen TV and DVD player, and separate dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, side by side refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, stove, toaster, and all the necessary diner and cookware.

The large Master suite includes a king sized bed, sitting area, flat panel TV and DVD player, and a beautiful private bath with glass stand up shower and whirlpool tub. A back door opens to the Sound-side deck.

Terrible Management

First, let's talk about the positives: * location is directly on the Bay and only a couple minute walk to the Beach * house was clean when we arrived * we were able to check in an hour early, even without requesting it Now, for the negatives: * only groceries within ~15 minutes are very expensive * not much in the way of chairs or beach accessories on site * 4g/5g internet is very spotty on the property * wifi was not operational when we arrived and property owners seemed to be unaware of that * icemaker was not operational when we arrived and property owners seemed to be unaware of that * no water filter available on site * slow to deal with our wifi issues and completely ignored the icemaker issue * dealing with wifi issues took a substantial amount of our vacation time * no compensation offered for dealing with issues Here, I have composed a timeline to give you an idea of what happened: * check in one hour early * after unpacking, I sent owners a request to get the icemaker and wifi issues resolved * immediate response, but it becomes clear to me that the contact number is a company that has a local team that I don't talk with * company claims that they attempted contact with me on icemaker issue; I have no phone calls, text messages, or message through VRBO so I let them know that * company asks me which internet provider they use (why would I have that info?) * company eventually tells me (after I contacted them several more times) that wifi will be corrected on Monda

Perfect Getaway!

This property is a gem. Location is perfect with access to the Gulf and the Bay steps away. The home is comfortable without being fussy. We had all we needed for a wonferful relaxing stay. We will be coming back to this awesome place many more times. Thank you!

Dauphin Island

I read other reviews about the cleanliness and it was actually clean. We saw no issues. The house is older and there are some updates that COULD be made but not necessary. The beach is accessible from the back but the trip out there is a little rough. Make sure to wear shoes until you get to the beach because there are thorns. Honestly other than that we enjoyed our stay and everything was nice. Any issues I had the hosts were accommodating and that was appreciated.

Lower price because of the lack of cleanliness

The house was perfectly located and spread out well for our family. Sofa was filthy, sand and bugs in the master bed, sand on floors when we arrived, food stuck on dishes and black mold coming from every air vent. I attempted to contact the property manager while there and was responded to by a bot until I commented that as a property owner myself, I’d never hire vacasa to manage my properties. From a business perspective, the dept of health would not allow this house to be a business. I was refunded my cleaning fee and nothing else. I asked to speak with the homeowner to make sure they knew what was going on and was assured that wouldn’t happen. So if you’re the homeowner, feel free to contact me.

Great place to stay

We were two families, 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The house is very spacious, the room for the teenagers was a perfect size and they enjoyed the seating area and there own TV to hang out, they even had their own little fridge. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, even though pots and pans were not the best quality. The kitchen cabinets could use some little fixing. We loved the easy access to both beaches. The Bay was great for Kayaking, SUP and swimming when the waves were too high on the other side. We liked the two decks, the only little downside was, to get to the back porch you had to walk through the master bedroom. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Family friendly

Great for my children. Easy walk out the back of the property to the bay. We watched dolphins every morning with coffee. Just across the street we had a turtle nest and wonderful swimming in the gulf. Super kids friendly place.

Great location, could be cleaner

We rented this house for two families and there was plenty of room. The condition of the house was ok, but you could tell that small repairs were overdue and have not been carried out. Also when we came in we noticed the cigarette buts in the sand outside. Also it was dirty under the nightstands, couches and nightstands. Pretty much everywhere where the vacuum wouldn't reach. The kitchen was not equipped very well. No knifes and other items that should be in every kitchen. The pots and pans were useless unless you like to eat the coating which was coming off. I have to note that within a day we have received a few new pans and pots.

Lots of Room in Guest House and Beautiful Views

Our first trip to Dauphin Island was amazing! The Guest House was situated in the perfect area to have your own beach in the back of the home AND public beach access directly front of the home just across the street. Short drive to main public beach and West End Beach. The bunk bed room is amazing for kids! The only thing I would suggest would be a new can opener and a pair of scissors but the kitchen was well stocked. There are chairs on the front porch as well as a table and chairs on the back deck for relaxing. The. back deck also has a gas grill. We really enjoyed our stay and would choose this home again. Thank you so much!

Honeymoon stay

We had a great experience! This house was exactly what we were looking for. The sunsets and sunrises along both sides of the house were just gorgeous. We rented a golf cart and that made our island experience even better so we could explore more. We would rent from Vacasa again!

The house was amazing!! Way more than what we expected. There were two decks, one facing the Gulf the other facing the bay. We saw so many dolphins playing while sitting on the upstairs balcony and on the bench by the water. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom very clean with white fluffy towels. The best part was being able to bring our dogs.

Definitely hard to leave.

We had a great time! The house was perfect for our family. It’s directly across the street from the public beach (ocean side) so very convenient. Bring chairs if you plan to set out on the deck. The grill is very rusted so we weren’t able to use it. The TVs were not working due to internet being down but honestly it was great to disconnect from all that and enjoy family time. Would definitely recommend.
