The home was perfect and the views and area was lovely. John, the host, provided the needed beach items that our family would need at the beach. It was wonderful not having to pack the extra beach items as it was so graciously provided to be used. The trek to the beach was a little hard in the sand with things in tow, but we managed and the kids and us adults loved playing for hours. We caught a blue crab, a hermit crab and found endless shells and lots of core memories were made that we will treasure forever. We also explored the island in our Jeep and went to the suggested tourist attractions. We played Goofy Golf, visited the Alabama Aquarium, toured Fort Gaines, and ate at Pirates Grill and Bar. We loved the island and can’t wait to return. The Tiki Hut was the perfect, safe place to stay and relax. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home with us. ##### Felicia M. The house was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Beach access is right across the street, and since there's no public parking lot the beach is only lightly used here. We checked out the public beach further down the island (which does have parking) and this beach was so much better! So the house is completely worth it just for being able to walk to this lovely beach. We LOVED having the bikes to ride around on, and the beach cart, toys, and chairs came in really handy because we drove so far to get here, and couldn't have brought all that stuff.
