As you enter, you are greeted by playful flamingo wall ornaments and bright pink flamingo wallpaper in the bathroom. The space is adorned with green walls and art featuring leopards, tigers, elephants, and other tropical birds, creating an exotic atmosphere. The bedroom, themed with a light blue and tidy ambiance, features a bunk bed with two doubles, comfortably accommodating two guests, or up to four for short stays.  
  
The Space:  
Welcome to Ports on Portland, a unique boutique hotel experience situated on the edge of downtown Dartmouth. Our building features nine distinct and beautifully designed spaces, each curated by local artists to offer a truly memorable stay.  
  
Flamingo Jungle is a unique and colorful retreat in Ports on Portland, located in the heart of downtown Dartmouth. This boutique hotel setup provides a custom-tailored experience just steps away from award-winning restaurants and bars. The studio is ideal for two to three guests, but can accommodate up to four for short trips, making it perfect for families or groups visiting town. With limited parking, we recommend using Uber or the nearby bus services for convenience. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of Halifax and the tropical, calming ambiance of Flamingo Jungle.

Please note that this is a lively downtown area. It’s not the place for those seeking a quiet retreat. You may hear people walking by at night from the nearby bars, and there may occasionally be homeless individuals passing by. However, there are no encampments nearby. Our building is old and, despite extensive renovations, the walls are still thin, so sound can travel.  
  
Due to our central location and limited parking, we recommend using Uber or the nearby bus services for your transportation needs. This allows you to easily navigate the city and enjoy all the local hotspots without the hassle of finding parking.  
  
There is NO parking.  
  
This is the 2nd floor with no elevator.  
There is no AC, washer, or dryer.
