Welcome to Ports on Portland, a unique boutique hotel experience situated on the edge of downtown Dartmouth. Our building features nine distinct and beautifully designed spaces, each curated by local artists to offer a truly memorable stay.  
  
Our property is not your typical hotel. We offer a boutique setup that provides a unique, custom-tailored experience designed to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each unit within our building has been thoughtfully prepared to reflect a distinct theme and atmosphere, ensuring that every stay feels special and different.

While parking is limited, the convenience of Uber and nearby bus services makes getting around easy. Embrace the charm of Halifax and discover the city's attractions just a short distance from our doorstep.  
  
Please note that this is a lively downtown area. It’s not the place for those seeking a quiet retreat. You may hear people walking by at night from the nearby bars, and there may occasionally be homeless individuals passing by. However, there are no encampments nearby. Our building is old and, despite extensive renovations, the walls are still thin, so sound can travel.  
  
Getting Around:  
Due to our central location and limited parking, we recommend using Uber or the nearby bus services for your transportation needs. This allows you to easily navigate the city and enjoy all the local hotspots without the hassle of finding parking.  
  
Our zoning allows for short-term rentals, making it easy for you to stay for both quick trips and extended visits. We are continuously enhancing our amenities, such as transforming the rooftop area into a terrace for additional outdoor space.
