The design feels like an older grand hotel but everything is well maintained and had an older cozy feel to it. The staff were wonderful, even helped me to book a taxi and gave a lot of advice and information about the area. The receptionist knew great english and was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is rather old but furnishings in public areas had a lot of character. Biggest disappointment was that the 2 hotel restaurants were not operating, so we had to go out after arrival to find a suitable dining place.
