Discover the quaint beauty of Libelle's Hope from this enchanting cottage filled with Danish Hygge. Libelle's (prn. Libella's) features 1 queen bed + 1 queen bed in loft, a bathroom with shower, and essential amenities like WiFi, heating/ac and a full kitchen. Nestled in the woods, on a century old farm along the Loup Rivers Scenic Byway, guests can relax and enjoy a peaceful retreat. Stroll through the woods, orchards and gardens or bike the countryside . Hike nearby Hannibal Woods or sign up for a kayak adventure. Writing workshops, and creative arts classes are also available for guests. Contact us to schedule these in advance. Jackie and Chris were wonderful hosts, and the cabin was cozy w every essential. The kitchen was stocked w teas and coffee and fresh farm goodies. It was really hot, then chilly and both the heat and the AC worked great. I would return again in a heartbeat!

Hosts were very friendly.The cottage was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of essentials, etc....They left us some preserves, organic teas and even some fresh eggs from their chickens. The puppy was friendly, they also have barn cats which were shy. Lots of wild birds to listen too in the morning and evening.Even though the cottage is near a scenic route, the traffic noise was surprisingly quiet. We enjoyed our stay there. We chose this cottage because it is away from the crowds and in the country. It was about a 30 minute drive to the Crane viewing area.

We love this little house, we have stayed here more than once and am always very happy, the bed is very comfortable, there are always little extra's provided by the host, it is quiet and peaceful and you can visit the chickens in the morning. Has everything we need for a stay.

Perfectly appointed lodging for a solo retreat, and good vibes all around. Nice shower, comfy bed, adorable kitchen. Host was super friendly. (One note for anyone like me who is super sensitive to sound: This time of year, without foliage, I noticed some vehicle sounds from the road while outside, but the cabin was quite well insulated. I doubt neurotypical folks would care.) It was so nice in every other respect that I plan to try again in summer to see the difference!

This cabin was perfect for my weekend solo writing retreat. Maximum coziness (I appreciated the hot chocolate, popcorn, and ice cream) on two chilly fall nights. Jacki and Chris were extraordinarily welcoming. I woke up early after my first night to watch the sun rise and walk through the stand of trees on the property and also enjoyed the paved trail around Dannebrog to Hannibal's Woods nature trail (recommended by the hosts in the listing). The ambiance of the cabin was in a class of its own: excellent lighting options, climate control, and beautiful flourishes in the decor/outfitting of the cabin. The vibe is magical (fairytale princess or green witch, you pick). No kidding, a small warbler (?) visited the window over the sink while I was doing dishes. Loved being able to open the windows during the warm breezy parts of the days I stayed. The old-timey am/fm radio plus bluetooth speaker was a nice touch. I'm already plotting my next visit.

We were in the area for a family wedding and so blessed to find this cottage.What a beautiful, enchanting little cottage. We arrived later in the evening to find this wonderful little Hallmark Cottage, in a little forest strung with lights to welcome us. A great little porch with a small table and chairs where we were able sit, relax and unwind after driving through quite a rain storm. In the morning we sat on the porch, enjoying a cup of coffee and a fantastic view. Sitting in a little enchanted forest, including a cute littke building in the trees, we decided that it must be a trolls home. Smelling the fresh air after a nights rain, the rooster crowing, i never wanted to leave. We were so happy to be guest here for the weekend and cant wait ti come back.

The little cottage was so calming with its decor and so comfortable. Out in the country just off the highway made it quiet and peaceful. And the hosts left us a little gift! What more could we ask for?!?

This was a lovely little place to spend the night on an overnight trip, it was quiet, the "extras" included by the host were wonderful even though we weren't there long enough to utilize most of them. We would definitely consider staying here again and staying for more than one night.

Cute Cottage in the woods

This cottage is perfect to catch up on your reading or connecting to your family. The jams that were left for us, tasted so good, thank you Jackie! We stayed there for 4 nights and enjoyed the games left there for us to have a game night or two. I recommend this place for soul searching and the closeness to nature.

The best stay ever! My dream home!

Absolutely loved this property! 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone and everyone! Me my husband and my two young children stayed here, It was comfortable cozy and so cute! My 7-year-old was sad at first when we saw there was no TV but in the end it didn't even matter, I would 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anyone that is coming through this area it was the best 100 I've ever spent! The host was amazing there was real coffee creamer in the refrigerator and cinnamon rolls that we could bake in the morning before we left! The host was also very understanding and let us check out at a later time since we got in late! I cannot say enough good things about this property this is definitely a goal in life now for me and my husband to own one of these and live in it with our children

A lovely well-appointed cottage about 30 minutes from the center of the great sandhill crane migration spot. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back next year!
